'Capture something that interests you' was Janus' assignment. Well, lots of things interstered Janus. He was interstered by the hot steam rolling off coffee, by the sunlight streaming through his windows. The fire flickering from his lighter. Birds flying carefree. But, none of these things felt...right.

He needed to think. And on a weekend, what better place to think then his favorite coffee shop? He approached Remus, e already having his coffee ready, giving it to him with a muffin that e promised 'didn't fall on the floor' Janus was very cautious of the muffin none the less.

He sat with his phone and his camera, scrolling through Pinterest, glancing up whenever the door was opened.

The door opened, and Janus saw his inspiriation. The world paused, and it was just him, and that dashing emo. He forced himself back to realilty, looking down at his phone and sighing.

He didn't notice that his phone had turned off, until someone sat across from him. "Hey," He looked up, his breath catching in his throat. It was Virgil.

"Hi there," Janus nodded.

"Sooo," Virgil hummed. "We uh, ran into each other the other day?"

"Yup," Janus nodded. "Quite literally, hm?" That caused Virgil to chuckle, and oh, god, Janus was falling deeper into the endless pit of love.

"Well, I don't like sitting by myself but I'm waiting on my boyfriend so...is it alright if I sit with you?"

"Yeah, of course," Janus smiled. "If...you do me a favor,"

"Depends on the favor," Virgil leaned forward on his elbows cautiously.

"I'm in a photography class...I need a picture for a project, is it alright if I take a picture of you?" Virgil was quiet for a long minute before softly nodding.

"Sure," He gave a soft smile, letting Janus photograph him. Janus did so, heart pounding in his chest as he captured a photo of Virgil. "And uh, let me know what grade you get," he pulls out a sharpie and scribbles on Janus' coffee cup. His number.

Janus can only nod dumbly.
