Hello there, Ranger Squad! This is the author speaking and first off, I just wanna say thank you for the love and support of the second season of The New B-Shot. I know that the first season was a little bit confusing, and a bit cringe-y for me to even try and read the first season since I wrote that story, like 3 or 4 years ago up until this point now, but it was still my starting point when it comes to writing stories.
Before, I wasn't planning on making an original story with The New B-Shot since it was going to be a one-time thing, like The Girl with Magic and Music (now changed to The Princess of Zenonia). 2016 was the year I was still starting out with writing stories and everything. I didn't know what I was going to be doing, but if it wasn't for TalianaBishop motivating me with her fan artwork with Kohana Mai, activating her elemental powers from the Ruby of Flames. It was all thanks to her that I was able to construct a good story line for the rest of the first season and everything that has made the second season to what it is for me and for her.
Now, after a year of becoming friends and working together, the third season is an upcoming project for me and Eodo. I'm currently taking a break before starting the third season and Eodo would be doing the same since she has unfinished projects that she needs working on and everything. However, for me, I will be starting the side stories to some of the original characters from The New B-Shot!
So, I hope you guys will like this one while waiting for the third season to come out and everything. You'll get to learn more about Kohana and how she met Samuru, along with a new and mysterious character that would be revealing themselves in the side stories and, soon enough, in the third season. Along with a backstory of Shiro Hama during her time at the orphanage, along with who is the true identity of Viveria the Butterfly Mystic.
Many more stories are coming to you in this Side Stories book for The New B-Shot! Again, without Eodo's help and ideas and support, along with another good friend of mine that's been helping me a lot and making original stories based on B-Daman, too. Thank you Kayetra_Maryquel for your support on the second season and having Kohana as part of the characters into your own original story, Crystal Magic, as well.
With it, that's all going to be for this author's note. I never expected how much time and effort into writing these stories... I mean, I really can't stop myself from typing on both my phone and my computer. I'm trying to get a better typing speed than the other current typing speed I have, and writing stories is the way to go for me to get used to typing a lot and getting faster than before.
Oh! The first side story will be published on July 5th, so stay tuned for that, everyone! All side stories are going to be scheduled so I can take a break and everything. I have Another Eden to play, Gacha Club to play too, and Beat Blade to play as well. The first side story is going to be about how Kohana and Samuru met each other and meeting this mysterious character that I mentioned in a previous statement. Stay tuned on July 5th, which is after Independence Day in the U.S.A, so yeah! That's cool!
