HIS ADDICTION

7 : PARTY

"There is a party going on and we are invited" lil told me immediately she hanged up.

"Who is the host of the party?"

"Nathan, our course rep" she said.

"A course rep party is usually strictly under invitation and we are not recognized in any way and I can't remember being a popular brand influencer. So how is it possible that we are invited" I rinsed the plates in the sink and arranged it in their various sections.

"Well, let's say" she paused and continued "I happened to have a thing with one of the elites and the elite boys are on the VIP list and I was invited" I raised my brow "I mean, he said we are both invited".

"You are dating Chris already?" I was shocked but also happy and not happy at the same time.

"Not yet, but we are getting closer by the day and I think he really likes me" she shrugged.

A small smile displayed on my lips

"What" she asked.

"Nothing I said and left the kitchen "when is the party"__

"__tomorrow is Friday right? I nod "then it's tomorrow." She picked up her nail polish "ray will pick us up. Since Chris will be going with Tiffany, Damian will be going with the twins, joe will be with Stanley."

"Do you think it's right to be associated with the elite boys?" I asked her.

"It's not like you are not supposed to be at the party by right. You are dating James and he is a course rep. In case you have forgotten" she looked at me "I don't see a reason why he hasn't invited you yet and he is a very good friend of Nathan"  I hid my smile. She really went with my fake story of dating the course rep.

"I will just wear something nice and presentable, your black gown will suit tomorrow's occasion" I diverted the discussion. Thank God lil has the attention span of a fly.

"Thanks. Do you remember, last week Monday ray told you about a secret admirer" I looked up at her and continue pressing my phone.

When she saw I wasn't interested in what she was saying she continued "your secret admirer walked up to me today and introduce himself. His name is Henry and he is so cute and rich, he is 19 and cool".

"So why are you telling me this" I asked her.

"He said he wants to have a dance with you at the party" I shake my head in disapproval "please give him a chance and things will work out well".

"Are you out of your mind, don't you know I am in a relationship and I am not here to be a whore do you understand, and stop going around discussing about me with other guys. Don't exceed your limits". The lie flowed out freely from my mouth.

She rolled her eyes "most times I doubt you are seventeen, you speak with so much command and authority. Just don't forget that I was in this world a year before you were born" she raised the nail polish and hands it to me.

"Shu let's go, ray is here already" I wore a black handless short gown, my make up was light, nothing too much with a silver purse and silver hills. Silver earring and a blue contact lens.

Lil was putting on a white crop top and a pink short skirt, a black hills and matching earrings and wrist band.

When we got to the car I was marveled. It was a four runner latest model. "Oh my goodness, is this your car?"

"No it's Damian's car. The twins wanted to go in their own car, so I used this car."

Twenty minutes later we arrived at the party.
"Wow this place is soo cool" lil gasped as ray chuckled.
