Chin lay staring at the ceiling; unmoving, unfeeling, broken and shattered.
She had been crying — no point denying that. Not even her mother's chocopoo managed to relive her messed up mind, nor did her father's lame jokes picked up her broken pieces.
Kim Chin An — the strong, unyielding smart mouthed woman they all thought she was — was broken.
She cried, sobbing, gasping, thinking.
Wondering about the hell that was currently happening.
It was happening all too soon, all over again. Jinhee dying once more, Jungkook finding out the secret that no one else knew, Jimin back to his old messed up self.
They were all back in the old 'them'. The messed up 'them'.
She remembered being this small and weak, back when Jinhee was eighteen. Eighteen and dying, and Chin was watching her slip into unconsciousness every hour, as if life was debating on whether to take Jinhee to her dead parents or leave her into the hell they dug out for her.
Jinhee was eighteen and dying, blaming herself for the death of her own parents, and Chin was there, watching helplessly, trying to convince her best friend that it wasn't her fault. Chin would be there, watching sympathetically, murmuring comforting words, then go home and cry, beating herself for being useless, for doing nothing as she watched Jinhee die little by little.
"Why?" she would ask herself, crying underneath the bedsheets, feeling like the sixteen year old she was. "Why?"
And now, she thought. Why? Whynow? Whynowthateverythingfeltright? Whynowthat everything's alright?
Why in the world can't they have a happy ending just for once?
Life was unfair. Life was a stupid, greedy, selfish bitch who liked taking those who you loved form you. Life. It was life itself, the real antagonist.
Chin closed her eyes, let the tears fall. Opened the dam that held back all these years. She was crying, giving in.
She was remembering all their once upon a times.

Hey, guys. I have quite a few announcements to make.
First is that my updates may now get slower due to three reasons: school, reviews, and most importantly, Dreame.
This may or may not happen, but I might have to unpublish Flowers and Broken Hearts. You see, I've decided used to join Dreame, a writing platform where we get paid for writing. However, I wanted to have an exclusive contact cuz it pays more, but that would mean unpublishing the book in other writing platforms, such as Wattpad.
Buttt, I revised Flowers and Broken Hearts when I submitted the story to them, meaning the characters, storyline and chapter word counts differ. It is now a Romance fiction in Dreame, not Fanfiction. I have asked regarding this matter, but I still have no responses.
If it ever comes to the point I would have to unpublish Flowers and Broken Hearts here in Wattpad, I'm really sorry. I appreciate all the love, support, votes, comments and shout outs you gave me. I met a few friends. I promise I would find a way to let them have Flowers and Broken Hearts stay in Watty.
For those who wants to see the revised version of Flowers and Broken Hearts on Dreame, my UN is still taehyungie_lover. Just know that the story there slightly differs from the the one here in Watty.
Let's hope this book gets to stay in both Dreame and Wattpad.
To lift this sad tension though, I might publish a teaser on the Flowers and Broken Hearts revised version here in Wattpad. Just the prologue and the first, second and third chapter. This is to show you how much it differs. And also if you want to support the revised version in Dreame. You will be able to read it in both the website and the app.
I hope you would understand my intentions for my decisions, and that you would continue supporting this book till the end no matter how messed up it is.
