Isabelle's POV
When I woke up the next morning I was surprised to have no hangover. I felt completely fine.
I figured it was probably because I was used to it by now but it put me in a good mood.
I had decided to make breakfast for the girls since Nora didn't cope well with hangovers and Zoe would have work later on today.
Lifting the covers off of my body, i stretched out my arms.
Last night was one of the best nights I've had in a while.
Although we didn't do much partying, the boys sure knew how to keep us entertained.
It was now 7:43am and I needed to get up to make breakfast before getting ready for work.
Knowing that I'd be working with the guys made me feel more excited for work today. I couldn't wait to see them all again.
I got up and walked to the bathroom. After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I walked through to the kitchen and got straight to making the food.
About 30 minutes later, three full English breakfasts sat on our breakfast bar. I would never usually cook breakfast so this, oh this was impressive.
It didn't take long for the two of them to wake up and smell the food before they came running in like young children on Christmas morning.
"For us?!" Nora asked, appreciative. I just smiled as I sat down to get at my own plate of food.
Zoe squealed before sitting down beside me and hugging my arm.
"Okay, okay. You're welcome."
And with that, we were all scoffing down our food.
~
It was exactly 8:30am when I had arrived at work with Nora. We dropped Zoe off after grabbing Starbucks and then came straight here.
Coffee was essential for us every morning or else I'm pretty sure we'd die half way through the day.
"Morning, ladies." Our boss, Dan, spoke.
Dan had been my boss ever since I started here and he was honestly the best boss I could ever ask for.
He never over-worked us. He never mistreated us. He was always respectful and grateful towards every single employee.
And, His intelligence inspired me immensely.
"Morning, Dan. How are you feeling this morning?" I asked as I picked up my lanyard and secured it around my neck.
"Better than ever. And you?"
Clearly, he was always cheerful and never let his problems, if he had any, get in the way of work.
Another thing that inspired me greatly.
"Well," i lifted my coffee,"I'm great actually. Can't wait to see what today has in store for us."
Knowingly, Nora giggled beside me. I'm pretty sure dan had no idea about who we were with last night.
And Oh was he in for a surprise.
"About that, I left you both an email with your schedules. Busy day ahead ladies." And after sending us a firm salute, he was gone.
I gave nora a quick nod before walking towards my office. Once I got inside, I placed my things down on a chair and hung up my jacket.
Dan wasn't joking when he said we had a busy day ahead.
