Isabelle's POV

As me and Christian walked through the house and into the kitchen, I took this as a time to admire their whole house.

Although he had already given me a tour, there was still so much more to look at. It was amazing.

"Finally." Mitchel said when we walked through the doorway to the kitchen.

"Did you enjoy the tour, love?" Jesse asked. He sent me a loving smile which made my heart feel warm.

"Very much so" i replied with a smile but my eyes turned straight to christian when I realised that my accent had just sounded strong.

"Don't you dare Christian" I warned as his face was clearly holding back a laugh.

He put his hand over his mouth so that nothing escaped it.

then I burst out laughing myself because I couldn't keep it in. His face had gone all red from trying not to laugh which just made things funnier to me.

After we both humiliated ourselves by laughing historically, everybody's eyes were on us.

I regained my posture and cleared my throat before I took a seat beside Jesse and Mitchel.

"What the fuck have you guys been smoking?" Mitchel asked with his arms crossed. "And without me?!"

In reality, we hadn't smoked anything at all. Yet I still felt as high as ever. That was a feeling I got every time I was with any of them. They had made my life so much more fun since I met them and I was more than happy about that.

"Nothing." Christian replied shaking his head firmly and laughing a little.

Clinton just rolled his eyes and walked over to the fridge. He was cooking us steak for dinner and I was so excited about it.

I watched as he took out all the ingredients and placed them in front of him.

"Come here Izzy." He said as he waved me over.

I did as he said and left my chair to walk over to him. When I got there, I lifted myself onto the counter beside him but not too close to the food.

"You wanna accompany me whilst I cook?" He asked, smiling at me.

"Are you saying I'm good company to keep?" I played.

He shrugged nonchalantly and I giggled.

"So, where did kras take you?" He asked as he cut open the packaging for the steak.

"We went to get coffee." I said, swinging my legs back and forth.

Although he didn't seem to mind, I stopped just in case it was distracting him.

Clinton acted as the dad of the group. He cooked, cleaned, all of it. His next girlfriend would be lucky.

He didn't look at me but I could see a smile creep onto his face and it made me roll my eyes.

"Stop that." I said.

"Stop what?" He replied.

"that stupid look on your face." I now had my arms crossed and he clearly found it amusing.

"Im not even looking at you." He said whilst putting seasoning on each steak.

Thank the lord that he could cook because none of the others could.

Well possibly pat.

Maybe Christian.

Mitchel? lord no.

Jesse? Fuck no.

Me? no comment.

"What ya thinking about, kid?" Clinton questioned.

"food" i laughed and looked towards Christian. He was sitting at the table laughing along at something Jesse had said.

I'd say it was pretty damn clear that I felt something for the guy.

I just couldn't figure out what. maybe it was just my body begging for sex or maybe it really was genuine but every time i saw his face i wanted to melt.

During the past week I found out a lot about him and his family. They sounded like the best people ever which wasn't a surprise since he himself was one of the best people I knew.

When he caught me looking, me signalled me over so i patted Clinton's shoulder and walked back over.

I felt as if I were playing a game. Constantly going back and forth was hurting my legs like crazy.

I'm lazy okay? I know.

I sat down beside him in the seat that was now clear because Jesse had moved into the living room.

"Hello gorgeous." He greeted. I could already feel my cheeks growing red in a blush.

"Hey pretty boy." I returned. "Nora and Zoe are still coming, right?"

He simply nodded his head in response.

Having Nora and Zoe with me made me feel much more lively. The vibes they brought with them wherever they went were perfect for me.

I needed Zoe's confidence and Nora's will to drink whenever and wherever.

"Speak of the devils." Mitchel said after hearing a knock at the door.

I got straight up and walked towards it. I hadn't seen Zoe in a whole day.

A day!

I mean i know a day isn't that long but to me it was a lifetime.

I opened the door and there they both were.

"What the fuck is up yo?!" Zoe yelled.

This motherfucking bitch.

I lifted my hand in front of her face and grabbed Nora's arm, pulling her gently in as I continued to walk with my hand to Zoe.

"No. Nu-uh." I said.

"What?" She questioned, a look of confusion covering her face.

Another thing covering her face: my hand.

"You disgust me" I joked. "No. In fact, you cringe the life out of me. See? I'm lifeless."

All Zoe ever did was greeted with memes or insults. I secretly loved it but she never needed to know that.

"You can't just say 'hey' and that's that? You shut the fuck up from there. You know?" I continued as she lifted her arms and laughed at me.

I was only messing with her but she knew that anyways.

She laughed a little more before sitting down in between Christian and Mitchel.

"That's my seat." I said, blowing her a kiss.

"Yeah?"

"Yup." I replied nonchalantly.

"Well it's mine now bitch." She said, sticking up her middle finger and turning back around.

I rolled my eyes and walked around to the other side with Nora.

"You're awfully quiet today babe." I said, turning to face her.

She looked drained of energy. Still beautiful, but drained of energy. Almost as if she hadn't slept all night. I knew the feeling and I knew what it looked like. She was acting strange and i couldn't put my finger on what made it so obvious to me.

Or she was on something...
