My mom and I entered into the Hawkins Middle School, this was the school I would be attending for the next three years of my life and then off to high school.
As we went walking towards the principals office to sign in I accidentally bumped into a short-haired brunette girl, "I- I'm sorry" I stammered as I started to walk out of the way of the girl.
Before I could walk 2 steps ahead she said, "oh it's ok my names El and you are...?"
"Oh I- I'm Will n-nice to meet you", I said stoped in my tracks shaking like I was a salt shaker being shaken onto some Mcdonald's French fries.
"Gre-" she stopped noticing my mom and introduced herself "- oh hi I'm El you must be his mom I'm guessing is it ok if I show Will around the school for you"
My mom was shocked that I had already made a "friend" (well I wasn't sure if we were friends but she seemed very nice) within being in the school for less then 10 minutes. She took a minute to reply which caused El and I to get a little bit nervous but when she did respond she said and smiled "yes, of course, please keep him away from anyone who might try to h-"

"MOMMMM!!!" will said in an attempt to stop her from finishing her sentence.
She stopped and smiled "bye will have a nice day," she said and then kissed his cheek and waved goodbye as she walked out of the building.
I then turned back to face will and began, "ok well how about I show you around then i can introduce you to my friends, Mike, Max, Lucas, and Dustin. I have a feeling you and Mike are going to be best friends I'm not sure why though I just have this gut feeling you know and well us too of course" I said while laughing at my ending.
Will smiled too I felt a warm sensation on my cheeks when he smiled I wasn't sure why I felt that way but I thought I would just ignore that feeling for now.

Me and El began walking around the school she suddenly had a look of realization appear on her face she turned to me and asked to see my schedule I swung my green backpack off over my shoulder and onto the ground I reached inside and rummaged around a bit for the schedule it took about 27 seconds until I finally was able to find it.
I swung my backpack back over my shoulder and smiled holding up the sheet of papers that held a list of all my classes, "here". I stated while handing the sheet of paper to her.
I watched as she smiled while reading the list of different classes I would have for the year she turned to me and said, "you and me have one class with mike and Dustin and then you have one class with Max Dustin and Lucas the rest of your classes you have with mike!" she stated a little too excited which left me confused until I remembered her mentioning something about me and Mike being good friends
She handed the schedule back to me and we turned a corner and saw her friend Lucas I thought he looked very nice and friendly but intimidating at the same time. She greeted him with a smile and he turned to me with a questionable look on his face, "El who is this?"
I started to speak but before I could stutter a word El answered for me, "oh this is Will he's new I wanted to show him around" she turned to me and said "Will this is Lucas the one i told you about." I smiled and waved at Lucas he nodded and smiled back but then turning to face El again.
Not 2 seconds after did Max appear from behind Lucas they seemed to be awfully close so I figured they were dating but I knew I wasn't going to ask about it.
Max turned to Lucas and asked, "do you know him" he responded with, "yeah I just met em"
I was suddenly very surprised because this was my best friend from my old school back in Cali!
