The LoveMeter was a tattoo-not just an ink tattoo but a scientific one that was etched into the skin of the wrist of every person. The sole purpose of this tattoo was to tell the person whether their soulmate was close by or how far they were from their soulmate, in terms of distance . However, that only happens when the LoveMeter detects the soulmate within its radius or else, the screen stays blank.
The LoveMeter brought every couple closer and bonded many soulmates-just like the famed red string.
However,the LoveMeter made couples realize how far they were from each other. It was their decision to decide to be soulmates by accepting each other. If the couple decided to accept their significant other, then the LoveMeter would transform into a delicate tattoo in the design of a specific flower. But if the couple chose to reject the other, then the LoveMeter would disappear and they would be soulless, those without soulmates. This was a rare case for the couples often admitted their love to each other for the LoveMeter bonded them almost immediately.
