Where do You Want to Stop?

It was fine. At least, so far. Sure, there were moments where there were episodes of silence that lingered between them but that just meant that Eunhyuk and Donghae were trying their best to adapt to each other. But overall, the two men fit each other seamlessly, probably since they were destined soulmates.

Eunhyuk's easy-going personality was a wonderful balance with Donghae's demanding and detail-oriented nature.

Donghae's touchiness encouraged Eunhyuk to become more open about himself.

Eunhyuk's calm demeanor was a soothing balm for the hyper personality that Donghae always displayed.

Donghae's shyness was slowly broken down with continuous confidence that the outgoing Eunhyuk had in him.

They both fit together like two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. They balanced each other in every aspect but still allowed the other to shine. They were perfect together as they helped each other to build upon their weakness anda express their strengths.

Donghae knew that he and Eunhyuk got along well, even more so than other members in the Suju Dorms. Since getting to know Eunhyuk, he had realized that he would always somehow click with the other man on some level that's in the higher form than the other members. However, the question that haunted Donghae was: "What did Eunhyuk think of him?"

On the other hand, while Donghae pondered silently, Eunhyuk was confused. He needed to sort out his feelings. Donghae confused him, yet calmed him at the same time. He was amazed with how well he got along with Donghae. But, Eunhyuk wanted to know if he was getting along with Donghae based on their LoveMeter or was it due to the fact that they clicked with each other due to the compatibility between them. Eunhyuk needed to know: "Was the bond between him and Donghae a hypothetical or real substance that could be translated into a possible lover?"

This needed to be sorted quickly before the two men could drown in something even deeper where they couldn't pull themselves out. Eunhyuk and Dongahe had to fix it before it became too hard to pull away from each other so that they both didn't jump into bad endings.

"Donghae-ah, we need to talk," Eunhyuk spoke as he leaned against the doorframe of Donghae's room.

Donghae looked up from his computer and nodded. Eunhyuk smiled softly and walked over to plop on Donghae's bed. Dongahe turned around in his swivel chair to face Eunhyuk.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" Donghae instigated the conversation.

"About us..." Eunhyuk replied, groaning slightly as he leant back on his arms.

"Us what...?" Donghae gently prodded.

"Ya know, Donghae-ya. We've become good friends now what does this mean?"

"You mean the bond between us? I mean, I personally do agree that we have improved our relationship to be better than what it was before when we first met. It's been better and I do enjoy hanging out with you."

Eunhyuk nodded as Donghae spoke, his heart agreeing with every phrase that fell from the other's lips, "Me too, it's just nice hanging out with you. But what about the future?"

Donghae questioned, "You mean the LoveMeter?"

"Yes, what happens?"

Donghae shrugged and avoided Eunhyuk's intent gaze, "It's your choice. When you feel ready, I'll be ready to do whatever you want and go wherever you want to go."

Eunhyuk groaned and flopped on Donghae's bed, "Ugh...I've been so confused with everything that has been going on between us. I'm amazingly comfortable around you and you always keep me grounded and at peace. But the question is if I feel comfortable around you based on the LoveMeter or the chemistry between us?"

Donghae chuckled softly and went to his bed to lie next to Eunhyuk. After getting settled next to Eunhyuk, Donghae gently wrapped his hand around Eunhyuk's and squeezed assuredly.

"Eunhyuk-ah, I really can't advise you to think what you want to about our situation. But I know this...When I first saw you and noticed that my LoveMeter went off, I really hoped that it was you. You were really handsome and charismatic, at least that's what I thought when I first saw you walking in the cafeteria. Now, after getting to know you on another level, I will admit that you are certainly my type cause you always seem to click with me on anything. With you, I can be myself because you have an excellent personality paired with good looks and humor. "

Eunhyuk sighed and moved around so that he could fit himself as much against Donghae's side. Then turning around so that the faces of two men were facing each other , Eunhyuk held their tangled hands between them and looked into Donghae's eyes. After a moment of staring, Eunhyuk finally uttered, "If we ever start a dating relationship, will we get tired of each other?"

Donghae smiled widely revealing his eye smile, "Honestly, that is up to the Eunhyuk and Donghae of the future. But for now, I know that we wouldn't because we know way too much about each other and are too comfortable to be like this and more in each other's presence. "

Eunhyuk smiled widely and snuggled closely to Donghae, making sure that his hand which was holding Donghae's was between them, squished by their bodies.

"Then, Donghae, would you like to go on a date with me this weekend?"

Donghae nodded and smiled widely, "Yes, Eunhyuk, I would love to go on a date with you!"

The duo on the bed both smiled hopefully at the future possibilities of what could happen on their date during the coming weekend. Thinking of the romantic endeavors that they may indulge in makes Eunhyuk and Donghae smile happily and snuggle with each other as they act drifted off into their own world of slumber shadowed with lovely dreams of the person sleeping in their embrace.

However, despite the happiness and hope that the new couple has now for the upcoming first date, the possibility of the success rate of their relationship lay within the hands of fate. Yet, one must remember that this new couple, both Dongahe and Eunhyuk had the power to stop their relationship despite being bonded by the LoveMeter. So the question for the future is: Where do they want to stop?
