salma's pov: wow. i cant believe that this is my last day in LA. never thought i'd say this but im gonna miss it here. not school of course but my parents, well only my mom & thats on daddy issues. anyways let me fill you up. today is the day that eshana, karim, lucas & i all move to san fran alone!!! yes i know that this is a huge step but i love my friends like family & we've always dreamed about this. well anyways enough chattering. i grab my 3 suitcases and my 2 boxes & headed downstairs. i sat and ate the last breakfast with my mom till god knows when.
"im gonna miss you mija" my mom said tearing up. "im gonna miss you too mommy" i half smiled.
we continue munching on our pancakes. i helped my mom clean up the kitchen. we chilled for a bit watching tv.

salma's pov: i hug my mom one last time with tears running down my cheeks. i'm gonna miss her so fucking much.
"well mommy, i gotta go. eshana's gonna kill me" i giggled
"tell them i say hi and that im gonna miss them. i love you so so much mija. visit me as much as you can and take care of yourself. if anything happens remember that im only one call away okay?" my mom kissed my forehead still crying.
"of course mami. i love you so much"
we hugged one last time. i grabbed my board and left waving goodbye.
i skated to keek's house and knocked on the door.
"hello salma!" his mom said hugging me. "hi mommy lei" i smiled "come in baby" she said
i smiled and walked into the house and saw karim's father watching tv. karim came down the stairs and saw me.
"good morning sal" he said giving me a hug "good morning keeks" i hugged back "lets go before eshana kills us" he said
karim and i said goodbye to his family and i could've swore that he shed a few tears. after our goodbyes we grabbed our boards and started skating to eshaha's house in comfortable silence.
in the mean time, let me fill you in on my friend group. first off is keeks aka karim. we have been friends since we were infants probably. i grew up with him and i love him like family. next,eshana. eshana and i met in kindergarten when she complimented my tutu and i complimented her hello kitty hair ties. in kg2 she introduced me to lucas and i introduced her to karim. ever since then we became an inseparable friend group. we did everything together and i mean every fucking thing. i wouldnt trade the world for them.
soon enough we got to eshana's house. her and lucas were loading up the bags in lucas's van.
"you're finally here bitch" eshana yelled "we better get going fuckers im not tryna spend another second in this shitty city." karim said "aight aight gimme ur bags and get in the van" lucas said.
in just a few minutes we were already on our way. music was blasting in the van and we were all talking and drinking the drinks that we brought the day before.
2 hours passed and we were hungry and tired.
"u guys up for some taco bell?" eshana said "fuck yes" keeks and i said.
we pulled up at taco bell, ordered and ate. we got back in the van and another hour went by. my eyes were slowly starting to shut down as tiredness took over my body. i made myself comfortable by laying my head on karim's lap and pulling a blanket over me.
"hey sal wake up" karim shook my body. i just groaned and turned around. "we're here sal! we made it to san fran!" he shook me even more. i shot up from my spot and looked at the city through the window. "wow" was all that came out of my mouth.
we drove a bit more till we got to our little house in a neighborhood that didnt seem too rich but too poor at the same time. we got out the van and carried all our stuff into the house.
it was a two story house with 4 bedrooms, two on each story, 3 bathrooms, a living area and a kitchen. we all settled in our rooms. keeks and i were on the 2nd floor while lucas and eshana were on the ground floor. i got to unpacking all my stuff which i surprisingly did somewhat quickly. i went to keeks' room and layed in his bed.
"hey keeks im gonna go walk around. maybe ill find a skate park or something while yall slow asses unpack" i told him "okay sal, but be careful okay? i dont want anything happening to you. ill send you the location of our house incase you got lost on your way back" he said and hugged me. "dont worry keeks ill be back in 2 hours max!" i smiled.
i went downstairs, grabbed my board, yelled a goodbye nd left.
