after cruising around for 20 minutes salma finally found a skatepark. she smiled at the teenagers skating, smoking & making out then started doing her own tricks and just having fun. salma enjoyed times like this where she was alone. she loved her friends to death but time alone was something she valued.
after an hour or so of skating she sat down, layed her head back and enjoyed the sun that was shining on her face. her peacefulness was quickly interrupted by a group of teenagers. she sat up and looked at them, then noticed that one of them was gio galicia. she got flustered but was internally yelling because she loved his skating content so much in addition to fact that he was possibly one of the cutest boys ever. after a lil debate with herself on whether she should approach him or not she decided to go up to him. whats the worst that could happen?
she walked up to the group of teenagers that consisted of 2 girls and 2 boys.
"uh hi" she said quietly. they all stared at her. "hey, i'm gio" he smiled. "oh i already know that" she smiled back they all looked at her confused. "oh sorry that came out so weird.. uh i just follow you on ig and i really like your skating content. you're really good" she looked down at her shoes, clearly embarrassed. "oh it kinda did but hey thank you. i appreciate it" he chuckled
she smiled and looked at the rest of the group. the girls were really pretty and the other guy was also cute, maybe i'll have a chance with him since gio would probably never look in my direction.
"oh these are my friends, this is celia" he pointed at the girl with long brown wavy hair. "and this is layla" she had short black hair and a nose piercing "and elijah" he pointed at the boy with long blond dreads. layla and elijah were all over each other so salma assumed that they were dating, she wiped the thought that she previously had about elijah. they all smiled at her.
"hi i'm salma" she smiled "ive never seen you around, are you new?" celia said "yeah i just moved here with my friends" she replied "damn you live alone? ur fuckin lucky" layla said "i live with my friends yeah i honestly have no clue how my mom even allowed me to move out at 17" salma laughed "where'd you live before you came here?" elijah asked "oh i used to live in LA. it fucking sucks there tho. its really not as cool as everyone thinks it is" salma replied "not to pop your bubble salma but it sucks here as well." they all laughed "why'd you guys choose the bay area out of everything?" gio continued "well it was always a dream of ours to live here. i dont exactly remember why we chose the bay area." she smiled remembering her friends.
before anyone could reply, her phone rang.
"sorry its my friend, gimme a second" she told them. they all nodded and continued talking about random stuff.
"hey keeks" she said "hey sal, where are you? you've been gone for 3 hours now" he sounded worried "awww are you worried about me?" she teased him "shut up bitch its our first day here of course im gonna be worried" "well dont! I'll be home in 30 minutes max! send me the location though i forgot" i giggled "ur so dumb & hurry up, we wanna go and eat" "okay okay ill be there soon. bye keeks love you" "bye sal love you too"
she hung up and turned around to the group.
"guys i gotta go my friends are getting worried" she laughed "bye salma!" they all said "bye! it was nice meeting you" she smiled and skated away.
"guys im here!" she yelled when she entered "about fucking time im starving" lucas complained "no one cares and you wont believe who i met" she squealed "WHO!" eshana yelled "GIO FUCKING GALICIA" salma yelled and jumped at eshana hugging her "NO FUCKING WAY" eshana squealed "YES FUCKING WAY BITCH HE LOOKED SO SEXY" "you guys can yell about this after we eat" karim said. "whatever" the girls said at the same time.
they all hopped in lucas's mini van and went to a cute italian restaurant that they spotted.
"so tell me all about it!" eshana smiled "okay okay so i was sitting down on this bench and then i heard a group of teenagers yelling and laughing so i sat up and i saw him. the one and only gio galicia" i smiled remembering the scene "did you get his number?" eshana asked "bitch we barely talked because karim's fuckhead called me and asked me to come back home" i glared at him "shut up i was worried" he glared back "anyways he was with his friends, two girls and one other boy. prettiest fuckin friend group bruh on god" i said "they definitely not prettier than us" lucas said "nah they prettier than all of you. yall are ugly" salma said "anyways the boy had these long blond dreadlocks. so pretty. but im pretty sure he's dating one of the girls." i giggled "the girls are so pretty tho like yo fuck men im tryna get wit them" eshana and lucas laughed at their friend. "your bi is showing" karim chuckled
they all laughed.
after the dinner they all went back home and straight to bed. they were so tired. salma went to bed with a wide smile on her face as she thought of gio. its only my first day here but i fuckin love it already. she thought to herself.
