I only own Elizabeth Potter and her story line. The rest of the ideas in this book belong to J.K. Rowling
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I had decided to take a stroll around the castle. Everything all around me always took me back to a simpler time. I greeted the paintings as I passed them. It was all going well until I bumped into a certain pair of red headed twins.
"Well if it isn't our favorite Professor" They said at the same time. James and I did that all the time but now I understand how it could be creepy.
"Fred, George," I greeted each of them individually. "I hope you two aren't stirring up trouble—"
"—Since when did you care about us stirring up trouble?" Fred asked.
"Yeah. If anything you help us cause trouble but bail us out." George continued.
"Why's everyone interrupting me all the time? It's seriously getting annoying." I asked out loud. "I was about to say that I hope you two aren't stirring up trouble without me." I smirked at the two.
They smiled. "We knew that we could always count on you, Professor." They told me about their plans to prank Severus later that day. Even if I'm well acquainted with Severus, that doesn't mean that I don't like pulling a prank on him every so often.
"Sounds like a good plan but you better come to my office first," I told the two troublemakers. "I have some supplies you could use. Let's get there before you both have class."
After that I helped the twins set up their prank; it was just a simple clothing colour prank. I made sure to have the reverse spell ready so Severus wouldn't have to go through that much today. It wasn't exactly an easy day for the both of us. But how else do I commemorate my brother's memory other then pranking Snape.
I said my goodbyes to the twins and headed off to find Aurora in the Great Hall, I still had a bit of time before classes start.
When I got to the entrance hall, it seems like Harry and Ron had been stopped by Malfoy and his friends. Yes I know who they are. . . Minnie told me about the drama she had been catching on to. I quickly listened to their conversation.
"What would you know about it, Weasley, you couldn't afford half the handle," Malfoy snapped. "I suppose you and your brothers would have to save up twig by twig."
I better stop this before it escalates any further. "Not arguing, I hope, boys?" I asked the group, sometimes I hate having to actually be the responsible adult I am.
"Potters been sent a broomstick, Professor," said Malfoy quickly.
"Oh right!" I said excitedly. "I remember the special circumstances, Potter. I'm sure it's a great broomstick. What model is it?"
"A Nimbus Two-Thousand, miss," said Harry, trying not to laugh. "And it's really thanks to Malfoy here that I've got it," he added.
"Well isn't that just a wonderful coincidence," I smiled. "A Nimbus Two-Thousand is a fine broom. I have one myself at home, a gift from a friend. I'm sure the broom will do you well."
"All the Hufflepuffs are such pushovers." Malfoy muttered to Crabbe and Goyle.
"Potter and Weasley, you may leave now," I waved them off. "I have to have a little word here with Mr Malfoy. Crabbe and Goyle, if you could, may you two leave as well?" Harry and Ron left with smug grins on their face.
