"Why is it so pink?" Asami muttered under her breath. It was weird for her. The outside of the school had an epic look while the inside look like some four-year-old designed the place. Which if she was going, to be honest, made her feel disappointed.
She rummaged through her pockets to find the schedule she was handed a couple days ago. Asami glanced at the folded piece of paper and opened it.
Class 1-A.
Where was it? She saw the room number sure, but that doesn't mean a lot when you're in a huge school. Actually no she was wrong.
Asami's eyes shifted left and right. Should she find someone to help her? She learned that there was another honor student like her, should she try to find them?
Nah, what are the odds that she would be able to find them?
Wait of that them?
She saw a teen with brown messy hair, Asami couldn't tell what colors their eyes were since their glasses had a certain unnatural shine to them. They had baggy clothes that were a bit of a mess. It seemed like they didn't put much effort into their outfit.
At least she wasn't the only one sticking out.
She wandered up to the teen and tapped their shoulder. The disheveled brunette turned to face Asami in a relaxed manner. They rose a brow. Asami gave a nervous smile and began to explain her troubles.
"Sorry for bothering you but do you have any idea where class 1-A is?" The short-haired teen eyes suddenly widen, as if she realized something.
"Oh yeah, no problem, we're heading to the same class after all." The teen says bluntly and walks towards a certain direction. Asami follows her.
"So I take it that you're the other honor student?" The shorter teen asks and Asami nodded her head in confirmation.
"Yup, I'm Meade Asami. You are?" Asami questions, hoping to gain any clues of the teen's gender.
"Fujioka Haruhi, a pleasure to meet you." Fujioka smiles at Asami, the taller girl returns with a small smile. Asami internally pouted at the fact Fujioka's given name was a gender-neutral name.
"Just looking at everyone really stick don't we?" Asami said in a mocking manner, causing Fujioka to let out a small laugh.
The two conversed with each other until they reached the classroom. Upon entering the two introduced their selves separately, Fujioka went first and Asami right after. The two sat next to each other. Discussing academic material, much to Asami's displeasure.

It was after school, the two opted to study together. After all, commoners should stick together.
"I'm guessing you're joining the art club?" Fujioka questioned, her eyes trained in front of her. Asami sighed.
"I think? I have no idea if I should. I mean I already have art classes to attend." Asami pointed out, Fujioka nodded at her point, seeing where the long-haired teen came from.
"I think you should join the club, " Fujioka softly pounded her fist in her palm. "you would be able to practice more and probably gain good tips from your senpais." Asami sighed once more.
"I guess you're right."
The pair were in front of the doors of the third library. The faint sound of chattering could be from outside the door. Fujioka however still opened the door.
It was filled with voices, each with different volumes and tones. Seeing the packed library the two sighed at the same time. The duo turned to face each other, only to let out small laughs. The situation they were in was a bit silly to them.
"These damn rich people, do they only come here to socialize?" Fujioka muttered in a condescending tone, earning another round of laughter from the teen next to them.
"Probably," Asami said, wiping the tears from her eyes. They closed the doors and walked away from the noisy room. She glanced at the watch on her wrist. Should she check out the art club or hang out with Fujioka more?
She'll stay with Fujioka for a few more moments.
"I heard music room 3 is abandoned, want to study there?" Fujioka asked.
"Sure," Asami replied.
So the duo headed towards the 'abandoned' music room. Oh boy.
