you knew it was bad to eavesdrop but you just can't help yourself but to stay put in front of the door listening to their conversation even if its hurting you.
miya osamu "and stop holding on to the things that broke you".

miya osamu "you finally found someone who's willing to pour all their love to you so don't let her go".

you heard silence for a while so you knew they were about to go outside so you ran quietly to the bench and acted as if nothing ever happened.

8:00 am
practice was over, you didn't interact with suna much giving him space and now you're in front of a vending machine near the gym.
you grabbed your favorite yogurt drink and walked away then you saw suna in a staircase near the rooftop looking gloomy and sad probably from the conversation he had with atsumu and osamu.
you would have went over, stayed with him and comforted him but instead you went over and gave him your yogurt drink.
"hey uh here you can have this. it always makes me feel better when im sad i hope it does the same to you".
you walked away not even bothering to hear his response.
as you walked away suna just stared at your figure slowly disappearing as you walked further away from him.
once he saw you were gone he stared at the drink you gave him.
suna rintarou "[ flavor ] yogurt drink.."
he took the lid off and slowly drank the liquid. sure enough the drink made him feel a bit better but suna didn't know why.
maybe because it tasted good?
or maybe because it came from you.
either way suna felt his heart flutter from your tiny gesture and he even found a new favorite drink and it's all because of you.
sun then started to think of what osamu had said earlier.
"stop holding on to the things that broke you".
was he really gonna stop waiting for the impossible to happen and finally let go?

you sighed and continued to stare at the stars above you.
"why does destiny let two people meet if they're not even destined to be together?"
"like damn just don't let them meet at all".
"it's so cruel to meet someone you can't have".
after a few minutes or so you felt someone seat beside you and you saw suna.
suna rintarou "i.. just wanted to say im sorry for ignoring you this past week".
suna rintarou "i know it was childish of me so im sorry".
"it's okay i know you have your reasons".
you wanted to cry, you wanted to let your emotions out, you wanted to tell him how hurt you are,
but you cant because you know you are the reason why your heart is breaking. you're the one who keeps hoping it's you and him in the end.
it was always hope that makes you feel alive and yet kills you at the same time.
so who do you blame when you break your own heart? of course you and only you.
"i want to change something between our deal".
suna rintarou "hm?"
"i wont make you fall for me anymore".
"just let me show you how i feel about you".
"let me express my feelings even with nothing in return".
"by the end of this 3 months i wont bother you anymore and you can be with who you want, deal?"
"just allow me to show you how i love you".
suna rintarou "i.. guess.. it's a deal".
you smiled.
you then stood up and stretched not taking your eyes off of the sky. for a few minutes it was peaceful and silent then you looked at suna who was looking at you the whole time.
you stretched out your hand for him to take to help him stand up. when he did, you smiled and told your goodbyes then you started to walk away.
but after a few steps you turned your head to look at suna and spoke up.
