nezuko kamado never expected a phone call that would change her life, but an encounter with a mysterious and flirtatious blonde will change her fate forever.
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵Destiny is something that the eldest sister of the Kamado family never really believed in, or at least until she saw a blonde boy with a broken foot sitting in the waiting room.
An anxious phonecall from her little sister had brought her here, and after hours of her father in feeble condition he had finally been stabilized.
It was scary, and she wanted to see her father now, but the hospital only allowed a certain amount of visitors at a time.
So now sat a girl with worried eyes, messy hair, and a baggy sweatshirt.
And with her luck, beside the cutest boy she's ever seen.
"Are you okay? You look frantic."
Nezuko turns, and her eyes meet with a pair of yellow ones beside her. The distance between their faces is unbelievably short, and her cheeks are immediately blushed over.
"Huh-? Oh, um— yes! I'm fine, I'm fine! Thank you for your concern." She fumbles with her words as they dance around in her mouth, and the blonde next to her gives her a grin.
"Ah, I'm glad to here it. You'd look even better
with a smile."Even better?
Her hearts pounding as she turns her head away from him, averting her gaze from those honey colored eyes to the window overlooking the town.
"I'm so embarrassed that the first time we meet is when I look so messy. It's been a rough day."
"You don't look bad, that's for sure. "
She raises a hand to rub the back of her neck nervously, a small smile forming on her face as she stares out of the window.
"Thank you— it's just been a very long day."
"I'm sure my situation probably isn't as bad as yours, but you don't expect to wake up and break your foot everyday, do you?"
The girl let's out a small laugh, covering her mouth gently as she chuckles. He can't help but admire her dimples and the way her eyes close in bliss as she laughs at his comment.
"So—"
"Excuse me sir, could you please fill out these papers?"
Before the two had even noticed, a nurse had approached him and handed him a clipboard and pen. He can't even respond before she's already disappeared behind the reception desk once again.
"That was fast." The blonde comments, twirling the pen she handed him around in his fingers.
Nezuko nods, twirling a strand of her thick black hair around her index finger.
"Oh, what I was saying— what's your name?"
The boy ask, fiddling the papers on his lap as gently taps his foot to the light music that plays throughout the hospital."Nezuko— Kamado. What's yours?"
He's writing on the papers the nurse had handed him when another doctor walks into the waiting room.
"Agatsuma Zenitsu— Your doctor is ready in room 203."
The mysterious blonde lets out a chuckle as he grabs the crutches beside him, hoisting himself up and limping to the doorway where the nurse stands.
"It seems you know it now—!" He laughs, flashing her a smile and pointing to the chair he was sitting in moments before.
Nezuko's gaze that was once following him travels down to his seat, and what lays there is a small piece of paper ripped from the forms with several digits written across it.
His number.
She blinks in surprise, lifting up the slip of paper to read small writing at the bottom.
"Kimetsu Café tomorrow at 3?"
