AUTHOR'S NOTE

Hey! I don't know why it took me this long to write an author's note, but here you go:

First of all, I want to say thank you so much for reading and voting on my first ever book. You have no idea how much the support you give means to me.

Admittedly, it's not great and is actually pretty far from. I know I have a huge room for improvement. Fun fact! I actually unpublished this book for a few days because I was sort of ashamed of how awful I though it was but then I realised that it was the book that brought out my passion for writing so I republished it.

I love expressing my thoughts through words. Words can convey so much, almost everything. And to me, that's beautiful.

This is going to sound so cheesy but I feel that in our world now, so much is focused on appearances and facades, which are not exactly accurate portrayals of someone's character. But even when knowing this unbending truth, people are still so quick to judge others based on their looks. That's just the truth of our superficial world.

It's not like that for words. You can see a lot through someone's work. For example, someone's personality is bound to show through in the characters in their book. That's what I love about writing. You learn more about people without scrutinising their face.

Sorry for that deviation, we are going to come back to talking about the book.

I actually planned for Michael and Ryleigh to fall in love. Parker was supposed to be just a supporting character but as I wrote more about him, I just found myself amending my plan.

Writing this book has taught me to have a lot of patience and perseverance. I wanted to give up. Multiple times. But I pushed through and now I have an online book. Not a great one but it's good enough:)

Alright that's enough rambling from me. Thanks for reading this!
