The light from the flickering basement lamp penetrated poor Seyeon's eyes. Her vision blurred as her memories failed to return.

Where was she? Why was she here?

The thoughts didn't last long 'cause by the time feeling returned to her body, she felt excruciating pain emit from her legs.

Tears began to well in the back of her eyes as she pushed her self up with her arms alone.

The tears fell as a whine tumbled from her lips at the agonising action.
It was too dark to see the damage done, but Seyeon could assume something was broken. It hurt way too much to be anything else.

The room held one flickering light from the aged and frankly dilapidated lamp. The ground she sat upon was cracked concreate, and the wall held no colour bar the drab grey with mysterious splatters of what Seyeon assumed was dried blood.

A chill ran down her spine hastily, leaving the shivering girl on the ice cold ground of the mafia's basement.

Her leg was throbbing, and the winter weather did wonders for her, numbing the indescribable pain of her unstable legs.

The time felt as if it were going slow, but it must of been a while since her head fell into a position that was bound to cause a painful waking.

"The girl's coming-to!" A voice chimed from beside the ravenette. What was most likely a normal volume seemed loud for Seyeon who had developed quite the headache since her last awakening.

As expected, her neck was in immense pain, almost cancelling the sensation of agony from her legs...almost.

It was more of a numb feeling though, and a confused one. She was still so unsure of what was happening, and except for running around the house with a knife like a lunatic, she had no memory of what happened.

Why was she running?

Her thoughts were interrupted by the same voice getting closer.

"I think we have her with us boys," it quietly mumbled, noticing the girl wincing with his first words.

"Great news and all Jeno, but please do get her up and ready to meet Renjun." This elicited a huff from the ravenette, who had no intention of ignoring the leader's wishes.

"Whatever Hyuck. Go tell Chenle, or someone who cares," the voice beside her, who had been identified as Jeno, continued cheekily.

Seyeon watched with her blurred vision, as the good looking boy, who looked in his twenties, leaned forward to examine her.

Her hazy mind lulled to a state of not caring as his soft touch made the exhaustion and fear of the night suddenly disappear.

"So you're Jisung's girl."

Her head snapped up at this, brows furrowing at the thought of the boy chasing her. Was that Jisung?

As if answering the question, a grumpy teen slammed the door open, barging in angrily.

"I see you two are close," he hissed, his brown hair falling over his eyes messily.

"Oh shut it Sung. We all know the rules. Don't be like Donghyuck." Jeno turned his attention back to the barely conscious teen, who had long since stopped trying to get away, letting the pain and the fear that had once enveloped her fade as she viewed the new arrival.

So Jisung was the one who chased her.

She let a small frown grace her features as she lowered her head.

"Let's get you to Renjun. Yeah?"
