Chapter 3

Scarlet's pov

After an hour of sleeping, I woke up and felt refreshed and energetic but I was still hungry. Hearing my stomach growl, I got out of bed and walked out the room. The house was so big that I really didn't know where to go. I walked around for quite sometime before bumping into a boy.

"Are you okay?" The boy asked helping me up. I swallowed and backed away staying quiet. The boy had short blonde hair and ice blue eyes. He had a glass of water in his hand that had spilled when I bumped into him.

"S-sorry!" I bowed before running off. I could hear the boy call out to me but I ingored him and ran out the house and into the forest. I caught the most wonderfullest smell ever and followed after it. I hide behind a tree as I saw Zachary and some other mens talking. The smell was coming fron Zachary.

"Mate" My wolf said. I stood there shocked. Not just that my wolf came back but that the Alpha I meet was my mate but will he reject me just like my other one? The thought of that made me afraid. But what made me more afraid was the mens caught me. Zachary turned around and our eyes met. I panicked and ran off.

"Hey! Wait!" Zachary shouted before running after me. I continued running until I felt someone grab my wrist. Of course, it was Zachary. I took a deep breath before looking up into his gray eyes. Zachary looked down at me and I knew that he knew I was his mate. I whimpered trying to get away but he tightened his grip putting his hand on my cheek.

"What is your name?" Zachary asked quietly staring at me. I hesitated before answering, "Scarlet Adams.." Zachary paused thinking before getting closer to me. His cold demeanor showing but also something else. He stood up straight. I closed my eyes shut waiting for the rejectment.

"I, Zachary Coleman..."
