Chapter 4

Scarlet's pov

"I, Zachary Coleman accept Scarlet Adams as my mate" Zachary said. Those words brought tears to my eyes. He accepted me!! He didn't reject me like Connor did. I jumped into his arms. I could do anything for him, anything with him. I smashed my lips against his as he pressed me against the tree. His hands felt warm as he put them under my shirt. All the passion faded as my stomach growled. We pulled away from eachother.

"Let's go home... you need to eat" Zachary said walking home. I hugged him refusing to let him go. Zachary chuckled setting me down on the counter.

"Hello Alpha" The boy I bumped into earlier said waving.

"Hey Kyle" Zachary said waving back. He then started coughing. I sat down at the table and sniffed the air. Mmm, the food smells so good! Zachary set the bowl in front of me and I ate it fast before asking for some more. Pack members said goodnight as they headed to bed.

"We should go to bed as well" Zachary said turning toward me. I pouted.

"Let's go back to the forest and watch the stars!" I said giving him the puppy dog eyes. Zachary hesitated before sighing holding out his hand. I smiled brightly grabbing it. We headed outside and deep into the forest settling against a tree. We kissed for a while before watching the stars. Zachary didn't seem like a bad person at all. I'm glad he accepted me. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Zacharys pov

I accepted Scarlet as my mate. Of course my wolf howled in delight when I did. I will treat her like a princess and protect her at all costs but first she needs to eat. She's too skinny and it isn't heathly for her. After making a meal, Scarlet had ate the whole food that there was no more in the pot! I'll remember to make her that from now on. All my pack members went to bed ready for tommorrow morning.

"We should go to bed as well" I said turning toward a pouting Scarlet. "What?

"Let's back into the forest and watch the stars!" Scarlet said smiling and giving me puppy dog eyes. I couldn't resist those. I sighed holding out my hand which she gladly took. We walked deep into the forest and sat against a tree staring up at the stars. Of course after we kissed. I never how pretty the stars were. They lightened the night along with the big moon.

"I want to know more about you Scar-" I stopped talking as I noticed that Scarlet had fallen asleep in my arms. She looked so peaceful as her snow like hair fell gently in front of her face. She was curled up cuddling into me. I smiled and picked her up like a princess walking back into the house. It is getting pretty late and I have another meeting tommorrow. I set Scarlet down on the bed and took my shirt off laying down beside her.

"Good night my sweet little angel"
