Chapter 7

Zachary's pov

Man these guys are fast! They just pop out of no where and attack me! How the hell am I suppose to defeat these guys?

"What's wrong!? Are we too fast for ya?" One of them said. I growled and ran fast slamming the father into a wall. The other wolf came and pounced on me sinking his fangs into my neck. I let out a howl and threw him off. A bite won't bring me down. I'm too mad. The father stood up and tried to pounce on me but I headbutted him in the gut.

"I want you to stay away from my mate you got that!?" I snarled before turning and starting to walk away. Both of them pounced on me and bite me all over. I howled in pain and ran around throwing them into walls and pounding them into the ground. They laid there unconsious. Finally, I limped out of the house and into the forest. I collapsed into the middle of the forest.

"Help me... help me, I'm injured.... Help..." I mindlinked Ally before passing out.

Scarlet's pov

The sound of footsteps and faded talking averted me from my sleep. I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. The pack hospital again... Zachary saved me. I smiled softly before trying to get up but ended up falling back into the bed with a groan.

"She's awake!" A voice said. I looked over to see the pack doctor rushing over to me and a boy that looked familar sitting in a chair beside me. The doctor took the tubes and attached them to my body before providing blood into them.

"This will get you to heal faster" The doctor said looking at me. I nodded slightly before a question came to mind.

"Where's Zachary?" I asked looking at the doctor then the boy.

"Fighting the two guys.. he'll be back soon" The boy answered with a soft smile. My eyes widen and I tried to get out of bed but I couldn't with me being weak at the moment. Father and Connor are really strong. Zachary doesn't have a chance against them! Ally rushed into the room, her hair flowing behind her.

"We need to get Zachary! He's injured and passed out in the forest!" Ally said looking at the boy. I tried to move but the doctor restrained me from doing so. The boy rubbed my hand before getting up. Ally and the boy walked out of the room. I closed my eyes and tried calm down.

'Zachary will be alright... I know he will' I thought to myself. After a couple of minutes, Ally and the boy brought in a injured and unconsious Zachary. I was healed and sitting at the edge of the bed. Seeing Zachary in such a badly state made my heart break into a million pieces. They laid him down and walked over to me. The pack doctor started treating to Zachary's wounds. I grabbed my mates hand staring at him.

"Idiot.. they are too strong for you" I whispered tears starting to fall down my face. Everyone walked out of the room quietly closing the door. I sniffled and laid down beside Zachary pulling the covers over us. I kissed his cheek then his lips.

"Get better soon my love, I need you" I whispered in his ear before falling asleep holding onto his hand.
