Chapter 6

Scarlet's pov

I woke up to an aching in my body. I remember running in the forest and someone knocking me out. But who was it? That voice sounded so familar. I tried to move but I was chained against a bed. I looked around. It was my old room, I was back in my pack. But why? They didn't need me...

The door slowly opened and a boy walked in. I looked over and gasped. It was my old mate Connor. The one who rejected me! (The picture above is Connor)

"Well look who's up! How are you doing sweets?" Connor said smiling. He walked over and leaned close. I can tell that he had been sleeping with other womens.

"Why am I here?" I asked finding my voice. I don't want to be here! I want Zachary.

"To punish you..." Connor answered grabbing my chin. Punish me? What have I've done?

"Why? I never done anything! You guys kicked me out!" I said starting to get angry.

"Don't get too angry now or your true powers will unleash!" Connor said chuckling. He moved away as the door opened again. Powers? My true powers? I turned toward the door to see my father standing there. He walked over and touched my hair moving it away from my face.

"Look how much you've grown my dear daughter" Father said with a slight smile. I glared at him trying to get out the chains.

"Are you serious!? Don't act all fatherly!!!" I shouted getting more angry. How dare he!! How dare everyone!! Father chuckled and crossed his arms.

"Don't unleash your powers... not yet! I will never let you see the real you!!" Father shouted slapping me across the face while Connor just laughed. And then the tortue began.

Zachary's pov

I ran faster and faster. Ally had tracked down where Scarlet has been taken. Me and some of my pack members were heading there now. Stacy is in the basement getting punished for what she had done. I hope she learns her lesson.

"She's in an abandoned mansion" Ally said through mindlinked. If I only marked my mate sooner, I would be able to find her quicker. I ran even faster letting the wind blow through my fur and my paws hit the solid ground. It was kinda like music to my ears. We continued running until we came to a clearing of a big abandoned house. My ears twitched as I could hear noises instead but one caught my attention.

"Scarlet!!!" I shifted back and put on pants not bothering to put on a shirt. My pack members followed suit and we all ran inside the house searching. Making sure to be as quiet as a mouse. After awhile, I heard a scream that could make anyone curl up and die. It was coming from the basement. I quickly ran downstairs and opened the door only to find it locked. I pounded on it before breaking it open with my shoulder.

"Scarlet! Scarlet are you-" I stopped talking. My pack members ran in and looked at me confused. They then looked over to see why I stood there so heartbroken, pained and angry. My mate laid in the bed bruised, bleeding, naked and helplessly unconsious. Two mens were ontop of her having their way with her. Blood boiled in my body and my wolf came out. I grabbed both of them tearing them away from Scarlet.

"Take Scarlet to the pack doctor... NOW!!" I ordered. My pack members nodded and they unchained Scarlet running out the door with her. I growled at both of the boys. They stood there abd smirked shifted into their wolf forms. A black one and a black and red one. And so the fight began.
