#6 - Meeting all the family (2)

The orange sphere has sunk and left behind a cloudy night with a sign of heavy downpour. The familiar loud sound of hooves can be heard from outside, my first thought is that it must be the king who's coming. Uncle Harris who's holding me in his arm walks out to the balcony to see who visits the Lily palace at this time. 

I'm in awe as I stare at the horde of pure white meres with their fancy blue roan coat, the carriage behind them are painted in cerulean blue embedded with silver lining and sapphire. As the door opened by the carrier, a ball of crimson fur jump immediately accompanied by two others.

"Nathan and the kids come"

Uncle Harris said to Archduke Julius who was sitting on the couch with Soheel. 

"This late? and the kids come too?"

Archduke Julius hand over Soheel to the maid in line and walk in our direction to see the carriage outside. 

"The siblings are lively today as well"

"Yeah, I felt tired already whenever I see them"

"Brother Harris, They are your nephew too" 

Archduke Julius let out a big sigh to his older brother's word. 

"Don't take it the wrong way, they are adorable... but sometimes they are too much for me to handle"

"... Let's go down and greet them"

Archduke Julius calls one of the maids and told her to prepare the usual for the children that are coming. The four of us leave the chamber and the maids run scatter in a hurry to inform the other maid, just like ants bumping their head to one another. 

One carries a big ceramic vase and the other hides any sharp display object on the wall and on the table. Not long after the corridor is empty of any decoration, even the sharp side of the table is covered with safety devices. 

"Magnus, Mike, Maison left the knight alone!"

A man shout can be heard on our way even though the lounge is still 2 minutes walk away from the entrance hall. As we get closer to the source of the commotion, the laugh and cry of children have filled the whole room. 

"Ugh, their laugh already send me chill"

"Stop it, Harris"

The three crimson fur ball I see earlier jumps and run across the whole room, and on the center of it all, I see a man that looks similar to Uncle Harris and Archduke Julius shout to the three of them while holding a crying little baby in a pink frilly dress.

"Nathan my little brother how are you these days? and your three little musketeers are always having fun whenever I see them"

"Harris, can you take Maya for a second"

"No problem, come here my pretty niece"

Strangely, Uncle Harris kept holding me on his right side when Uncle Nathan put the little girl on him. 

"Maya doesn't like a stranger and she likes you more than me"

"Nah, she doesn't like me that much"

"She like a good-looking man"

"Ok, I'll accept that"

Uncle Nathan runs to the three running furballs. Well, they look exactly like a ball with that fluffy thing on, the three of them wear a warm coat made of fur that matches their crimson hair and they bounce like crazy on the ground. The little girl beside me still crying on Uncle Harris's arm, she too has these unique irises similar to all of us. It's deep, almost blood red color and sparkle when the light hits them just like a real ruby gemstone.
