They cast a spell to conceal my voice, vision, and hearing, fortunately, my other senses still working well. Hours passed each mile the horses take us, when they slow down the scent of dried leaves basks under the heated sun greets me.
A whiff of such plain thing inside this blackout full of uncertainty put me a little at ease and calm my rushing heart, I've yet to attempt anything and try to be as docile as possible to not tick their anger, or in this case Esme unexpected mood swing.
"There is no way they can hide me in this country, especially with the king reputation, anyone sane would cower in fear when they see the traits of royalty in me, no one would cooperate with Esme, he is a nobody"
The horse stopped and my body stiffened to face my fate, Luke gets off from the horse, his big hand reach me and take me down with him.
"Look like we have arrived at the destination, that big talk of him from before sounds like a joke now, he can't do anything and I'll be back in a second to father Julius and-"
My mind tries so hard to convince me that everything is fine, but on the other hand, I can't keep my heart that jumps out of my chest over each shake their feet take me.
"Hm? The surroundings change?"
A strange void engulfed me whole, the wind that kisses my skin unfamiliarly cold, the air itself feel heavy and damp like we are inside something that hasn't been touch by the sun for ages. We're going down and down to this rabbit hole, who knows what awaits me at the end of this path.
As they go deeper, the more restless I become, and to top it up it's harder to grasp for air in this cramped closed space. They keep on walking even though they obviously notice the pain I go through, I hope this will be over soon.

"Hey open your eyes kid"
Esme voice echo from afar, I am able to hear again, he must have lifted his spell on me, the merely dim light strikes quite a pain as I try to open my eyes that have been accustomed to blindness for a long time. Esme takes a quick glance at me before he gets back to talk to someone in front of him.
"You can check the kid again"
Esme said to the man with a robe warped all around his body, I closely observe this place, a huge cave inside the mother earth, its wall and ceiling filled with stalactites and natural stone pillars, they glow in their unique natural color, illuminating this place.
I spotted a total of eleven people with robes scatter in here and at the center of this all, a huge machine stands tall, it omits a heavy hue of blue and purple, that thing must hold the reason why they bring me here.
"A portal? Is this some kind of secret organization? This looks so bad for me, where the heck are they taking me"
"Ok, clear"
The man in robe said to Esme after examining me with a magic device.
"Your other goods will be sent right after the checking" they added
"Take us to gv571"
"Right that way gentleman"
Another man in robe guides us to the machine, he types our destination, and the machine hues start to swirls and merged colors, inviting us to come in.
We step into the portal and before I know it, we were in a different place, greeted by a man in a neat butler outfit, the butler itself doesn't look at all ordinary, he has a big scar on his left eye, and one near his left lip.
