Hello!

Welcome back!

Thank you so much for sticking around!

For this chapter, we get to introduce some new people into the mix, maybe introduce a villain in the story? Not really a villain but something like that. Anyways~

On with the story~!

============================================

Bas took a few deep breaths as he sat comfortably in his new desk. He was currently alone in his boss' office, organizing some things that need to be done. He had already set up his email as well as a few supplies that he needed for the day. A week before his first day, he was asked to come in and process his company ID as well as his email account for the company. Although he already had his own email address, the company policy dictates that he must have a different address that he will use for transactions and contacting other people within the company, or in rare cases for his position, making correspondences outside of the company. Usually these correspondences are on behalf of his boss.

As he was skimming his email, getting familiar with some of the addresses and phone numbers that he'll be using for the rest of his stay here, he failed to notice a fairly built man approaching Copter's empty office. He finally realized that there was a person, raising his hand to knock, but was too busy looking at his phone.

"E-excuse me sir..." Bas called out. The ma raised his head in question to the small voice that had just called his attention. He turned his head towards the voice and raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"M-Mr. Kerdthongtavee is not in his office a-as of the moment." Bas said as respectful as possible. Even though he had already met with a few people in the office, there was something about this man that made him a tiny bit submissive. It may have been the man's large stature or it could also be the aura of dominance that he emitted, but he still stood his ground and politely told the man.

"Oh. And who are you cutie?" The man asked in a flirtatious tone. Bas almost let out a scowl. It was another flirtatious man. Bas did not deny that he was cute, but he knew that this was not an appropriate area to be flirting with. He could already tell that this man was in a higher position than he was, since he was just about to knock on Copter's office door.

"I am Bas Suradet-Diloknawarit, Mr. Kerdthongtavee's new assistant." Bas said in a straight tone, not trying to get his nerves out. Even though he might be kind and caring to everyone, he still had an annoyance towards perverts, to which he could sense from this man.

"Well, well, well, looks like Copgi forgot to mention that his new assistant was such a cutie..." the man said leering over him. Bas got a bit uncomfortable, stepping back, preparing to grab anything from his desk to threaten the man from coming any closer. His face still remained steeled, not letting any emotion through. His hands got a grip on his stapler, holding it tightly, ready to aim for the head if necessary.

"Why don't you and I.... OUCH!" The man said with a yelp at the end, rubbing his head in pain from an unknown source.

The man looked back to see another male, about the same height and build as Bas, tapping his foot in annoyance and clutching a notebook in his hands.

"What do you think you are doing?" The smaller male asked with a sharp tone in his voice. Bas could sense the man looming over him stiffen at the tone.

'N-Nothing...?" the man said in a scared tone. The smaller male sighed, pulling the taller man besides him. The smaller male smiled at Bas to which he returned as well.

"Hello, I am Ian Sukkasem, and this is Mr. Joss Wayar. He's the head of the Purchasing Department, and I am his assistant. I'm so sorry for his behavior. He's usually not this straightforward." The man, now introduced as Ian, said as he looked at the big man named Joss. (A/N: Yup. I added myself again. Sue me okay? I can't think of anything else.)
