With Riff:

The two Rock Trolls were still sitting where they had the entire night, Barb resting her head against Riff's shoulder as she continued to sleep.

The male Rock Troll had set their backpacks down beside them, so he was able to reach over and grab everything he needed in order to work on his thesis.

As Riff wrote down the intro paragraph, explaining what his thesis was about, he began to think of ways he could word it so it would catch the professor's attention.

He was writing about the history of Rock Trolls and all of the different styles of Rock n Roll there was, explaining why they were all important.

There were so many different versions of Rock n Roll music, that he just chose the main ones, but also mentioned the number of versions there were.

The versions he chose to highlight and go into full detail in his thesis were Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, and Pop/Rock.

He also wanted to include his experiences working with Queen Barb in the concluding paragraph, hoping it would boost his mark and grade.

Riff sighed and glanced down at the Queen of Rock.

He had initially begun working with her only to get college credit, but overtime, he began to enjoy working with her as time passed on.

He was the drummer, her right-hand Troll, the one who was always there for her when she needed a 'yes-man' or for when she actually needed help with something. Riff also had a feeling that Barb had gotten used to him, having objected to having a right-hand Troll at first, but came to realize that she needed him more than ever.

He smiled and wrote out the intro, and as some time passed on, he managed to finish the two body paragraphs as well. They were well-written and detailed, highlighting all of the more important information from all the notes he had written down while doing research.

"Wow, you sure do know what you're writing" muttered Barb, having woken up several minutes ago, watching and reading what her right-hand Troll had written down.

Startled, Riff jumped in fright, not expecting Barb to be awake and so silent the entire time.

His cheeks then flushed as he hugged his notebook close, slightly embarrassed after finding out she had been reading what he wrote.

"I just want to do the best I can so I can graduate at the top of my class. I...do want to continue working with you as your right-hand Troll, your number one drummer and partner in crime" said Riff, smiling bashfully.

Barb chuckled, grabbing the notebook and began reading what he had so far.

The male Rock Troll could only hide his face in his hands, embarrassed as the Queen of Rock read what he had.

Barb smiled and nodded, handing the notebook back to him.

"Nice, you're doing great so far. Can't wait to read it when it's done" said Barb, smirking as she winked playfully.

The male Rock Troll could feel a new wave of embarrassment wash over him, his face heating up from how playful and flirty she was being all of the sudden.

This is another side of her that Riff had never seen, along with what happened yesterday when she began crying and allowing her emotions to finally take over.

It was as if she was a whole different Troll, a new side of her that nobody knew about.

Riff chuckled nervously, glancing away as he took the notebook back from her.
