The True King of Techno {Trolls World Tour}

Sequel Ch.18

With Trollex: 

The Techno Troll and Beat Drop Button fish had found the fountain.

They had followed the map and found themselves in a large cave with a tall ridge. 

There was a small tunnel leading to a doorway at the top, a large circular archway that was already open. 

Inside, in the very center of another large cave, was the fountain. 

It was surrounded by large thorny vines that were slithering slowly like snakes, and there was a large crack in the ceiling that allowed some sunlight to seep in. 

Some of the vines were so large that they were growing along the floor and walls, some of them even hanging from the ceiling. 

Needless to say, Trollex had to look at the sketch of the fountain in the blue book he found, the thing looking exactly like it’s supposed to. 

“Beat, we found it! We found the fountain!” cheered Trollex, hugging Beat close as he twirled them around. 

Beat couldn’t help but laugh triumphally, feeling excited and overall happy that he would be getting his Beat Drop ability back. 

The sudden sound of Trollex voice caused the vines to begin twitching slightly, agitated and annoyed. 

Trollex noticed this and immediately went silent, tightening his hug around Beat and floating still, watching as the vines settled down. 

Breathing a sigh of relief, Trollex and Beat exchanged glances. 

“Ok, it looks like we need to be silent, or those vines will start attacking us” whispered Trollex, looking around to make sure none of the vines were twitching or moving. 

Beat nodded in agreement. 

“Hey, didn’t one of those notes say that the vines wouldn’t let them in? Why was the doorway open then?” whispered Beat, now realizing this. 

Trollex shrugged, floating silently over to the fountain. 

“Who knows. Maybe it felt comfortable enough knowing that nobody would be coming down here so it allowed the doorway to be open?” whispered Trollex, approaching the fountain. 

“Hmm...good point, but that doesn’t seem...right somehow. I don’t like this, buddy” said Beat, frowning worriedly as Trollex floated directly in front of the fountain. 

Trollex sighed, looking down at Beat. 

“I know, but let’s just do what we need to and then get out of here, alright?” said Trollex, holding Beat in his arms. 

Beat nodded in agreement. 

Trollex took in a deep breath before gently lowering the Beat Drop Button fish down into the water. 

Beat felt his entire body tickle slightly, the water seeping into his body and healing whatever was wrong with him, in this case it was his lack of Beat Drop ability. 

Beat couldn’t help but laugh as he swam around, feeling more energized and awake than he ever felt for the last three months. 

His body brightened, no longer pale as he swam around the water. 

Trollex smiled, seeing that Beat was excited and happy, the Beat Drop Button fish his normal bright green color and looking more energized than ever before. 

The two were so preoccupied with how happy they were, they didn’t even realize the two Pop Trolls and Rock Trolls walking up the path, tired and sore from the long climb up.
