While she was wearing her shoes the door bell rang. she went to open the door. There stood Taehyung all wrapped up. They're attire was quiet similar, Taehyung chuckled looking at her hat.

She gave him a weak smile in reply. She had recently received a call from the hospital that Krystal had left to go to the bathroom but she didn't come out. when they went in to check, they saw the window had been broken and there was blood and syringes on the floor. That had made Jennie really unstable as she couldn't even share the news with anyone.
Taehyung and Jennie had a silent ride. Jennie was still pondering on her thoughts and Tae was glancing at her literally every once in a while worried. Tae didn't appreciate the fact that she was keeping to herself.
Jennie on the other hand had no idea. Her thoughts were stuck on Tao and Kai. 'They have to be related.' she thought.
Tao was Jennie's middle school best friend but when he realized that Jennie's path was devoted to justice and peace he befriended vicious people and left her. When she first saw the file that said he wanted Chorong she was really hurt but that was nothing as she had faced much worse.
As for Kai... Jennie didn't think she loved him that much.. it was puppy love. after a month when Krystal broke up with Kai, he returned to Jennie and asked her out but she had developed feelings for Taehyung so she declined.
Jennie was kind of suspicious over Kai's behavior and she might've even caught him in action. he sometimes didn't care to hide his brutality (Being as far fetched to use abusive language towards poor and weak women) *disclaimer: Kai is NOT like this in real life. all the characters have really beautiful and cheery personalities in real life, keep that in mind please.*
'Why would Kai do something like this to Krystal though? most important of all: was it really Kai who drugged her? maybe she thought it was him?'
Jennie sighed for the 100th time ruffling her hair while Taehyung looked at her concerned. finally mustering up his courage he asked:
Taehyung: "Jennie.. is there something you want to share?"
Jennie: "Huh..? Oh yeah.. actually I'm just a little worried for my friend as she's hospitalized.."
She replied causally not making eye contact in case he caught her lying. Taehyung looked in her eyes. Those eyes he had deeply fallen for *I'm cringing* But they didn't seem to be speaking the truth. He scoffed and Jennie looked up at him.
Taehyung: "As If lying will make it better..."
Jennie bit her lip as she scanned his face and found her self admiring him before she snapped and finally asked the question that was bothering her.
"Do you know Kai?"
Taehyung looked at her taken aback and a little shocked before he replied in a matter-of-factly voice.
Taehyung: "Yeah.. Kim Jongin. He's the mafia leader of Black A.C.E and he's one of our biggest rivals.. Didn't you know?"
