A/n I'm not good with goodbyes so I'm just gonna skip to the end of their goodbyes, sorry.

Aspen's pov

"Call us sometime yeah?" Jace asks smiling weakly wiping his tears that fell looking down at me

"I promise" i whisper my voice cracking, Jace hugs me softly and I feel another set of arms around us

"Boys it's time to go" my moms voice interrupts our moment

We separate and smile lightly "I love you guys"

Jace pulls his neck pillow out of his bag "I love you too ass pen" I laugh lightly

"But I love you more" Elijah adjusts his neck pillow as well

"Hey princess Aspen, do us a favor" jace looks at me using a nickname we haven't used since we played 'the royal family' when we were 5 or 6

"What is that, prince jace" I do a curtsy before making eye contact

"Stop hiding your accent" he laughs lightly before jogging off and blowing a kiss to me

Elijah looks at me before smiling and doing the same

My moms jaw drops as they pass her "WOW BOYS I LOVE YOU TOO!" She calls after them sarcastically

I hide my emotions with a smile and turn around once their out of sight, I hear my moms footsteps following me before she appears at my side "do you want to stay at my-"

I cut her off quickly and keep my stare on the ground "can you just drop me off at the hotel I'm staying at?"

She hums in response

The car ride was silent, and now I'm wandering through the halls of the hotel

I come to a stop infront of a door, I look at it for a minute before quietly knocking. It's so late he's probably asleep, but part of me hopes he's awake

After a moment of waiting the door opens revealing a very tired looking Adam, thank god he opened the door or it would be awkward to have to explain. "Hey" he leans against the door frame his eyes barely open all the way

I feel a lump in my throat and finally start crying and he stands up straight before I feel his arms wrapped around me "what happened?"

"Team Australia lost their game yesterday, we just dropped Jace and Elijah off at the airport, their going back to Australia" I struggle but make it out

His hand runs circles on my back in a comforting way. His hand lifts up my chin and I hold back my sobs trying to control my breathing "I promise everything is going to be okay. Just breathe." He pipes my tears with his hand that he had on my chin. "You need sleep."

My vision clears up slightly as the tears stop. I weakly smile at him. "This is a bad time but don't hate me for this." I whisper

"Wha-" before he can finish I bring my hand up to his face and slightly pull his head down. Right before our lips meet he pulls away and I drop my hand from his face. "Look, I really do want to kiss you. But your vulnerable right now, your not in the right mindset."

He pushes my hair behind my ear and I nod "yeah, your right. I'm so sorry." I blink and shake my head causing him to bring his hand away from my face. I take a few steps back "I'm gonna go" I mumble and start walking away

"Wait, aspen wait" I hear his voice and I turn around

"I'll see you tomorrow" I weakly smile and turn back to finish my walk back to my room. Tomorrow's going to be a long day.
