Bruce couldn't believe it. Paddy wanted to see him. She missed him. She didn't sound upset or angry on the phone. Maybe there was chance of reconciliation after all. He didn't want to get his hopes up too high, just in case he was wrong. But this was a start. Paddy, his Paddy, his love...wanted him to come over, she said she missed him, she told him she needed to see him.
Bruce decided to show Paddy how much she meant to him. He had bought a simple, yet elegant necklace while he was in Ibiza. It was a simple silver necklace with a single black pearl on it. He had purchased it from a local vendor that made homemade jewelry. He knew she would prefer that over expensive store bought jewelry. Paddy had her own jewelry company, Totem Adornments, where every piece is homemade from recyclable materials. She also donated 10% of all profits to underprivileged communities to help build hospitals, libraries, and other necessities. Bruce was honored to have such a selfless wife. She had everything she had ever wanted, yet she still found time to give back to those who didn't. Bruce knew as soon as he saw the necklace, that she would love it. To him, it told the same story as her own personal jewelry did. He also decided to pick up a bouquet of yellow roses, and a bottle of wine. He would give Paddy the world if it meant her coming back to him. He pulled up to their flat in London. It was a 20 minute drive from Chiswick, but those 20 minutes had given him time to think of every possible outcome of his meeting with Paddy. He hoped she would forgive him and take him back. But, what if she didn't? Would he beg for forgiveness? Bruce was a proud man, he never begged anyone for anything, but this wasn't just anyone, this was the love of his life. Would he just let her go? He also thought about Alice. Would he go back to her if Paddy didn't want him? Would she want him back knowing that she was his second choice? Bruce sighed as he got out of his car and walked up to the building where they bought their flat. He hoped everything would be OK.

Griffin and Alice had been at the bar for 4 hours and didn't even realize it. They had both drank a fair share of beer, and a few shots that Griffin thought would go well. He had even convinced Alice to stick a shot glass down her cleavage and let him drink it. It was all harmless flirting, after all, this was the woman that had been with his Dad and was the cause of his Mum leaving.
"I'm telling you Griffindor...." Alice started laughing at her own joke, snorting in the process, which only made her laugh even harder.
Griffin tried to give her a stern look, "Griffindor? The fuck? I don't watch Game of Thrones...."
Alice put her hand up, trying to get Griffin to stop talking, "Fucking Harry Potter you dumbass...."
"Harry? I know a Harry, he's the drummer to my band. But he's no Potter. He's a Jenn....a Jenn...Jennings."
Alice couldn't take it anymore, she was laughing so hard she was going to make herself sick if she didn't stop. She stood up, immediately stumbling on her own feet and falling on the floor.
"The fuck are you doing down there?" Griffin raised his eyebrows and looked down at Alice. He reached his hand out and helped her up, pulling her onto his lap in the process. Alice put her arms around his neck and looked him in the eyes, she thought Bruce was good looking, that was until she met Griffin. He looked a lot like him, but also had a lot of Paddy's features. He wasn't as short as Bruce, and was just as muscular only he was lean. He wasn't bulky like Bruce was at his age.
"What do you say we get out of here?"
Griffin had his arms around her waist, he looked up at her and saw her give him a sly smile. He smiled back as he dropped one of his hands below her waist, resting it on her ass. When she didn't protest, he began to rub his hand up and down her backside. "Where do you think we should go?" he asked her, his voice barely above a whisper.
Alice could feel him getting excited. She liked Griffin and wanted to get to know him better. She knew it would only complicate her already complicated relationship with Bruce. If anything happened between her and Griffin, how would Bruce feel about it. How would Paddy feel about it? If her and Griffin end up really liking each other once they sobered up and wanted to get to know each other, would Paddy be OK with her Son dating the woman her husband had cheated on? Alice knew she was fucked, either way. Alice drew herself closer to Griffin, "Is your place nearby?" she whispered in his ear. She pulled away from him to look him in the eyes. She noticed the lust sparking in them. Griffin nodded, he leaned into her and gave her a soft kiss on the lips. He felt her kiss back, pushing herself onto him. Their tongues began to explore each others mouths, their hands were ravishing each others bodies. Griffin reluctantly pulled away from her, knowing that they couldn't make a scene at the bar, as much as he wanted to take her right then and there.
"Let's get out of here."
