When Billy had finally gotten home, he immediately looked for Cameron. "How did you do that back there?" He asked him after finding him in a room. Cameron looked at him. "Clearly you're not the only one with powers." He replied. "To be fair I thought I was until seeing you turn into Captain Marvel." He added. Billy shook his head. "That's not even my...never mind." He said. Cameron laughed. "So how'd you become the city's hero?" He asked.

Billy looked at his brother, unsure how to really answer. "Kinda strangely to be honestly." He admitted. He told him about the wizard and how he was granted his powers, the fame he got from it and how it got to his head. Cameron nodded and looked at Billy. "Better story than mine." He said. "One day I'm walking the streets and the next thing I know I black out and wake up in some lab." He explained as he rolled up his sleeve to show the lightning bolt mark on his wrist. "After I escaped I found out a lot of things had changed." He said as he messed with a nearby computer with his abilities. "So where were you all this time?" Billy asked Cameron. "Why come now?" He asked.

Cameron looked at him and explained about living on the streets. "I didn't even know if you were alive." He explained. "But every time we were in the same town you had already ran away and ended up in another home." He added. Billy sat by Cameron and apologized for snapping before. He wanted to say something about what he did but he knew that whatever Cameron went through must've been rough.

Meanwhile in another part of the city a group of scientists were scattered around the lab as a woman stepped in. "Any progress on finding the subject?" She asked one of them. The scientists said that they had unfortunately been unable to locate the subject and were finding ways to. "We've been able to continue to see the vitals," One scientist said. "They seem to be unharmed at the moment."

"I still don't understand how you idiots could lose sight of a child," The woman said. "Especially one of such power." She added, shaking her head. "Doctor Sivana will not be thrilled about this," She warned in a stern tone. "Find this subject before he decides to deal with any of you instead." She warned as she walked by a screen with a picture of the subject, Cameron Batson.

Meanwhile back at the Batson's home, Cameron was sitting on the porch when Mary came outside. "Thank you by the way," She said to him. Cameron looked at her, confused. "For saving me and my sister back at the gas station." Mary reminded him. "I recognized the mark on your wrist." She said. Cameron looked at the lightning bolt mark and then back at Mary. "Right place at the right time." He said. "Glad you two made it out okay," He added. "Otherwise I wouldn't see you again as my sisters now." He said with a chuckle.

"You know," Mary said. "You're kinda like Billy was when he first came here." She explained. "Off by himself, not really trying to connect with anyone," She said. "Never really felt like home." She said, causing Cameron to look at her shocked. "Billy never really felt like home when he first came here." He said. "He had a hard time adjusting."

"But he adjusted." Mary corrected him. "He stopped being the lone wolf and started being part of this." She said. "You seemed like you were doing fine being away from us till now." She told him. "Like I said to Billy," Cameron said. "I didn't even know if he was alive." He said. "Our mom left the both of us when we were little." He explained. "One day she took Billy to the fair but he never came back," He explained. "A few days after, I ended up being abandoned by her too."

"That's why you've been on the streets?" Mary asked. "There wasn't really anywhere for me to go at the time," Cameron replied. "But anytime I heard about Billy being close by, I did whatever I could to find him." He explained. "After I stopped hearing about him changing homes," He added. "I didn't know where to look anymore." He said, revealing when the police had caught him. "They assumed I was Billy so they called the foster parents to get me."

"And now you're officially part of the family," Mary said with a smile. "And it's good to have another little brother around." She added. "I'm glad you and your sister are okay," Cameron said. "Just glad I finally found Billy after all these years." He added. Mary nodded. "Well, we should get inside," She said. "Dinner's almost ready." She informed him.

Throughout the dinner, Cameron watched how connected Billy was with everyone. seeing how happy his brother was made him wish he had gotten there sooner. Cameron wasn't sure how to feel about the family. He wanted to be open about his time on the streets but wasn't sure how to be.

At the same time in the lab, a scientist had managed to get a location on Cameron at the Batson residence. The woman from before returned at the same moment as the scientist got her attention. "Ma'am, the subject has been located." The scientist stated. The woman smiled and looked at the screen. "Activate the scanners for any trace of other individuals surrounding him." She ordered. The scientist did as she requested.

Cameron suddenly felt a burning sensation on his wrist, not thinking much of it. What he didn't know was that the lab had put the tracker where his lightning bolt shaped mark was.

As the results came into the lab, everyone in the Batson household appeared on the screen. "Stop," The woman ordered. She tapped the part of the screen with Billy's picture. "Lead us right to him." She said with a smile.

Cameron had started rubbing his wrist until the pain started to fade. After it was gone, Cameron suddenly began to have a headache start out of nowhere. His vision started to blur and it felt like he was spinning.

Billy noticed this and looked at him. "Cameron, you okay?" He asked. Cameron looked at his brother. "Uh, yeah," He lied to him. "Just gonna head upstairs for a bit." He added before getting up and walking out of the room. Billy felt worried about his brother, but didn't want to intrude in case he wanted to be alone.

Cameron walked upstairs and walked into the room he was sharing with Billy and Freddy. As he entered, he zoned out as his eyes glowed an electric blue again. He looked towards a laptop in the room and started using his powers to go through its information about Shazam. Every video from trainings, strengths and weaknesses, etc.

The data was being sent to the lab for some experiment. "Subject has gathered nearly all the information we need." The scientist informed the woman. The woman nodded as she felt pleased. "Disconnect the tracker effects until the information can be finished." She ordered. The scientist did as suggested.

Cameron's eyes returned to normal as he felt like he had just blacked out in the middle of the room. He had no memory of what he had done with his powers just now and just wanted to get some rest. As he laid down, a small glitch like effect flashed on his lightning bolt marking. Cameron fell asleep without noticing the glitch effect on the mark. He just wanted to feel better later on.
