Chapter 16

Eren was out for the day to do some errands so Levi was just hanging around Eren's room while waiting for his boyfriend to come back. He cleaned as much mess he could because everything was so messy. In the midst of the cleaning up, he found a rather old black book that had the label 'DIARY' on it. He chuckled at the thought of Eren once keeping a diary.

He sat on the bed and flipped through the pages. He wasn't a busybody, he was just curious on what his lover's life was like before they meet. The first few pages were alright and cute but when he read further, things got more depressing.

He found out Eren was struggling with so many things, depression, anxiety and was a very sad person. He furrowed his eyebrows as he read on further, heart breaking at each line.

"I don't why I'm like this. I'm so useless and nothing important. I get so easily worried all the time, I get anxiety. I'm such a loser, a worthless nobody. Everything hurts right now. I just wanna die."

"I cut 15 times today. No one saw them. They hurt a lot but it feels much better than the emotional pain. I also got bullied today. Everyone hates me.. I don't see the point in anything anymore.."

Levi gripped on the book harder as he read on. He never knew Eren struggled with so much pain. Why didn't he tell me?

Levi closed the book and completely stopped reading. He couldn't take it anymore. He sat and thought about everything. He never noticed anything about Eren whenever they were together. Maybe, he just acts infront of me?

Levi's heart broke into pieces as he thought about how much his own boyfriend had went through and never told him about it.

He suddenly heard the door open and a familiar, beautiful voice fill the room.

"Hey, Levi. I'm back."

Levi immediately got up and hugged Eren tightly, burying his face into the crook of the male's neck.

"Levi..?" Eren was shocked but hugged back anyway.

"I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry. Baby, I'm sorry." Levi just kept muttering words of apologies and didn't stop.

"What are you apologizing for?" Eren asked as he held Levi's face and looked at him.

"I read your diary and... Why didn't you ever tell me? I would have helped you. Eren, I love you and you shouldn't ever be afraid of every telling me anything." The raven-haired male said as he stared right back into those green orbs.

Eren froze. He read it?

oK i apologize profusely for going missing for so long, i was just so busy with everything and with life and it was just really hectic.
this chap is related to my previous one where eren hopes levi never finds out and stuff.
