REID'S P.O.V
I was sitting at my desk at the Behavorial Analysis Unit reading a book on Mathematics when Jennifer Jareau walked up to me. "Hey Spence, We have a case." Jennifer has the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen. "Uh..Uhh...Ok Thanks, Be there in a minute." I just stuttered and now I sound stupid. She furrowed her eyebrows and walked away.
I walked into the room and saw everybody was there, just staring at me. "Sorry I'm late, What do we have?" Garcia is our Technical Analyst who finds what we need the most about the Unsub. She stood up and started presenting. As she was talking I couldn't help but stare at JJ, She was so beautiful. I wasn't paying attention until Derek Morgan snapped me out of my trance. "Hey Pretty Boy, I see you staring but we'll worry about that later" I looked back at Garcia and she pushed a button on her remote and sat down. Oh no, I just missed all of that, now I have no clue who or what this Unsub does. Hotch stood up and said "Wheels up in 20" And everybody walked out.
As I sat on the plane, my head was hurting just thinking about JJ. I mean, She has a husband named Will and a son named Henry that she loves very much. There is no way in the world she would ever love me. David Rossi walked over to me and sat across from me. He's a good friend, Almost like a father so I don't know if I would tell all of my feelings to him. "Hey kid, You've been acting a little..different..lately, What's on your mind?" Oh no, I don't want to tell him, I don't want to tell anybody! "Oh um I ate mexican food last night, My stomach just kind of hurts, That's all. But can you tell me about the unsub?" I asked him. Of course I didn't want to lie but I also didn't want to tell him that I love JJ. "Sure, This Unsub has already killed three people, two men and one woman. He has killed all of these people in their own homes. He overdoses them with a lethal injection and leaves them to die. Strange, But the CSI hasn't found any fingerprints or clues that could lead us closer. That's all we know for now but I think the police department will tell us more." Rossi just said a lot and I was definitely paying attention that time.
As the plane landed in Sacremento , California it was now our job to find this dangerous killer. Jennifer was setting up the board and she looked amazing in her black jeans and the tucked-in purple shirt, I just couldn't stop staring! I seen Morgan in the corner of my eye. He walked over and pushed me. "Hey!" I yelled. "Sorry Pretty Boy but I seen ya staring, You can't think of her like that, She's our friend." Dereks trying to tell me like I don't already know. "Can we talk about this some where else? Its kind of embarrassing!" I told him
"We'll talk about it on the plane, We have an unsub to catch." Derek told me as he walked away.
"Kate, Rossi, and Reid, go to the crime scene of Ian Andrews, Victim number three. You might find something that they didn't." Hotch told us as we were sitting at the table trying to figure out who this guy is. We got into our SUV and drove about twelve miles away from the police department when I looked out the window and saw a woman, Walking like she was drunk. I thought to myself..'Who would be drunk at two in the afternoon?' "Rossi, pull over by this girl, I want to talk to her." I said. I know we don't have time for this but its two in the afternoon on a Tuesday, Who would be drunk? Rossi pulled over and we got out, Kate ran over to the girl and asked her to sit down on the bench. "Are you drunk?" Kate asked her. "No I...I was pulled...into, into an alley by by a strange man" She said. I don't know what her name was or anything about her, But she's obviously not drunk. "We want to take you to the Police Department, is that OK? Maybe we can catch the guy who did this to you." Rossi told her. "No..I,I can't do that..He..He said he would kill me if i ,If I told anyone" She started crying."It might just be me but I think this might be the work of our Unsub, Yes he changed his M.O but maybe that's just to throw us off." I told Kate and Rossi. They nodded their heads and we convinced the girl to get into the SUV and that nobody was going to hurt her and she was safe with us.
"We need to call the paramedics because she's definetly been drugged" Rossi said as we pulled into the police station. "We helped her out as I was calling the paramedics. They told me it would be about five minutes before they got here.We took her into the building with us and we helped her lay down. I don't know what kind of drug this guy used but it was working fast. JJ asked "What is your name?" The woman replied "Laurie" in a very faint voice.We all walked over to the board and I sat down. I was staring at JJ when she looked up and confronted me. "What is your problem Spence? You haven't been acting like yourself" She said. "Oh..Um nothing, I'm fine I promise." I answered too fast and now she really knows some things up. "I got to go JJ" I had to get out of there before she asked anymore questions. I opened the doors to the Sacramento Police Department and I let a few sheriffs in. I walked over to a bench that was up against the building. I was thinking about the case and how Laurie could've gotten away when a man approached me. He had black hair and a goatee and he was wearing glasses and a trench coat. He seemed strange. Why would somebody be wearing a trench coat when its almost 80° and its not even three in the afternoon yet.
"Have you seen a woman with brown hair and she's wearing a purple tank top with black yoga pants with white shoes?" I thought for a moment. Laurie was! I remember her saying 'He said he would kill me if I told anyone' So I need to protect her. Its my job to save people and find the monsters that hurt them. "No I haven't seen her sir, I'm sorry. Can I ask why you are looking for her?" I would be able to tell if he was family or a friend of hers but he had a straight face and he even seemed kind of angry. "Oh no reason, I'm sorry for wasting your time" He answered and now he seemed nervous. He started running away!. That was weird but if he wants her so bad he'll come back for her.
