You wake up feeling a small breeze over your skin and the sun on your face. You look around and remember last night. You smile and look to your side where Indy is still asleep. You kiss his cheeck. He wakes up and smiles when he sees your face. He tucks your hair behind your ear and kisses you. 'Good morning sweetheart.' He says. 'Goodmorning hansome.' You lay your head on his chest. 'So, what did you find out yesterday?' 'We know how long the stick is. And you know what the funniest thing is?' Indy asks and he laughs. 'Tell me.' 'They're digging in the wrong place.' Indy laughs and looks at you. You smile. 'I missed these little talks.' 'Yeah me too.' Indy says. He wraps an arm around you and kisses the top of your head. 'Sallah will take us to the well of souls today. Then, I guess we'll know where to find the ark.' 'Great!' You say. You kiss his arm and get up. 'Come on let's get dressed so we can have breakfast.'
After you got dressed you go downstairs. Sallah is sitting at the kitchen table. 'Goodmorning!' Indy and you sit down. 'Hi.' Sallah says looking up from his paper. 'Did you sleep well?' You ask him. 'Yes, well at least a lot better than you did.' He looks at you and Indy with a childlish grin. You laugh but then stop when you understand what he means. 'Oh my god, did you hear us.' You look down, embarrased. Sallah nods. You burst into laughter. 'I am so sorry you had to hear that Sallah.' He laughs. 'It's okay my friends, ten years is a long time.' Indy laughs. 'Too long.' He says.
Sallah takes you to were they are digging. 'Wow, that are a lot of diggers.' You say. 'They hired every single digger in Egypt.' Sallah says. 'Including you.' 'Including me.' 'The Nazi's would never if they knew you were a friend of mine.' Indy says. You laugh. 'I don't think so either.' You get there and Sallah lowers Indy down. 'I'll stay here.' You say. 'Someone needs to be the look out.' 'I'll stay here two.' Sallah says. Indy is only down there for two minutes when two Nazi's come your way. 'Was machst du da?' One of them asks. 'What?' Sallah asks you. 'He asks us what we're doing here.' 'Komm her.' They take you to their car. 'Shit, Indy has to be able to get out!' You whisper to Sallah. 'I have an idea.' He says. You get pack to the camp and Sallah gets inside a tent and then another and another. From each one he takes a sheet and from one a Nazi flag. He knots them together into one leach. 'Come, we'll get Indy out with this.' Sallah says. You run back to the well of souls. 'Sallah! Y/N!' You hear Indy scream. You lower the sheets and Indy climbs up. 'I know where it is!' He says. 'Where?' You ask. 'There.' He points in the right direction to a small hill. 'Come one, let's go!' He grabs your hand and runs with you over the terrain. Sallah goes the other way to get some of his friends to help dig.
You all dig a for a long time. You sit down for a minute to catch your breath. Indy sits down beside you and wraps his arms around you. You lay your head on his chest. He kisses the top of your head. 'Can you believe it?' You say. 'We're so close to discovering the Ark. My father's life's work!' Indy laughs and hugs you closer. 'I know right. Its amazing.' 'What do you think it'll be like?' You aks and look up to Indy's face. 'I don't know.' 'Magic?' 'You know I don't believe in that Y/N.' You laugh. 'Yeah I know, but you know I do.' Indy laughs. 'Yeah I know, that's one thing I never understood.' You laugh. 'Just because you never saw it doesn't mean it can't be real.' Indy kisses you. 'Please keep on dreaming sweetheart.' You smile. 'Indy we've hit stone!' Sallah calls out and Indy jumps up. He grabs your hand and you stand up. 'Come on lift it!' Indy says while he helps te diggers lift it. You look down and see depth and throw down a torch. 'Indy why is the floor moving?' Sallah asks. Indy looks down and he growls. 'Snakes, why'd it have to be snakes?' You chuckle. You always thought his fear of snakes was funny and Indy thought yours for spiders was two. 'Come one Jones show a little back bone.' He gives you an angry look but you just smile innocent. Thst makes him smile. 'Asps very dangerous, you go first Indy.' Sallah says. Indy growls. 'Don't worry I'll go first Junior.' You laugh and lower yourself down with the robe. There are snakes everywhere. You try to hold them of with the torch Indy threw down. Indy climbs down as well but halway he falls down. A snake looking straight into his eyes. Indy looks back for a few seconds and then turns away fast. He alsmost jumps in your arms. 'Y/N Jezus I hate snakes.' You chuckle. 'I'll protect you.' You say a little sarcastic. A snake slidders your way and almost bites you. You scream and jump on Indy's back. 'I thought you weren't afraid of snakes.' Indy smirks. 'I'm not.' You get off his back and stand beside him trying to look casual, without succes. Indy laughs. Sallah comes down last and then you continue to the room where the ark is supposed to be. You look around. Everywhere is gold, like in a farao's grave. On the other side of the room there is a big stone box. 'I think the ark is in there.' you say. 'I know it is.' Indy says. Sallah and him both stand on a side of the stone thing. You help Indy. Together you lift the ark. It's gold with two handles to lift it on each side. On top are two birds with long wings touching the other. A small wow escapes from your lips. It's absolutely stunning. Your dad would have done everything to see this.

You take the ark back to the room with the snakes. You put the ark in a wooden box and tie it to a rope. 'Come on, lift it!' Indy yells to the diggers up the pit, not knowing there are more people up there than just Germans. 'Come on Sallah, you can go first.' You say to your friend. He climbs up. Just as he reaches the surface a familiar face looks over the edge. 'Hello dr Jones, what are you doing in such an afwul place?' 'Bellog.' You growl. You hate that frenchman. 'And with such a lovely lady.' 'Come down here and I'll show you.' Indy says angry. 'No, I think we are very comftorble up here.' He says with his horrible French accent. He looks up to his fellow Nazi's. 'Yes we are very comftorble up here. And again what was briefly yours is now mine. But see this as positive, you are now about to be a permanent item to this incredible place.' 'Hahaha, son of a bitch.' Indy laughs sarcastic. 'At least, let the girl go, she has nothing to do with this.' He looks at you with love in his eyes. 'No Indy I won't leave you.' 'Oh don't worry madam, I do not wish to leave Dr Jones all alone this afwul place.' Belloq grins. 'Goodbye!' He waves with his hat and they close the well. 'Indy, what do we do now?' You ask, not panicking YET. He looks around and notices snakes coming out the right wall. 'Look.' He says. 'I think that if we can get through that wall we can get out.' 'Good idea, how?' You ask. 'Wait here, and try to keep the snakes away with the torch as long as I'm gone.' Indy hands you his torch and he climbs on one of the statues. The snakes are getting closer as the torches are dying. Indy swings his whip around another statue and tries to push it down. 'Indy hurry!' Just as your torch goes out the statue falls and makes a big hole in the wall. You cough because of all the dust. Indy takes your hand and you go to the next room. You let out a little scream when you see all of the skelletons. Indy smiles. 'Come on this way.' He points to the right were there's light coming from behind the wall. You get out. You squeeze your eyes a little because of the bright sunlight. 'Look, they're taking the ark on that plane.' You point. 'But then we'll be on board.' Indy says. 'Come on.' You run to the plane. While Indy fights one of the technisians you try to get the pilot out. He tries to shoot you but you kick the gun out his hand. You throw him of the plane where he falls on the man Indy was just fighting. 'Good job Y/N!' He smiles and looks up at you. 'Come one.' Indy climbs on the plane but one of the other technisians comes walking up to him, to fight. Indy sighs and gets of. While he fights you get in the cockpit. You hit something by accident and the plan starts. Without you trying to the door closes. You try to get out but it's stuck. Oil leakes under the plane. A truck with German soldiers drives by, trying to shoot you. You get behind the plane's gun and shoot it. It blows up and catches fire. 'Oh no.' You say when you that the oil catches fire. 'Indyy!' He looks up from his fight and sees it too.'Y/N get out of there.' He says and he hits the german. 'I can't, I'm stuck!' 'Shit.' The guy he's fighting just wont get down. The plane makes a turn and Indy cover his head with his hand. The techinsians looks confused and turns around, he sees the propeller coming towards him. You look away and blood spats on the plane. Indy climbs to you and shoots the long wich makes the plane open. The fire rages to the plane. Very fast. 'Come on run!' You jump off the plane and run away as fast as you can. Behind you the plane explodes.
When you get to safety you hug Indy. 'That was close.' 'Too close.' You both sit down to catch your breath. You look outside and see Sallah walk by. 'Hey psst.' You say. Sallah walks in, when he sees your faces he smiles wide. 'My friends, I'm so please you're not dead!' You smile. 'Yeah me too.' 'They're loading the Ark on a truck to Cairo.' Sallah informs you. 'What truck?' Indy asks. 'That truck.' Sallah points to the truck that just drives by. 'Sallah, get back to Cairo and get us some transport. I'm going after that truck.' Indy says. 'I'm coming with you.' You say. Indy smiles. 'Of course.'
