Chapter 7: Will you?

Indy and you got home safely and so did the Ark. After the Ark got storred in a guarded facility you moved on with your lives.

You moved in with Indy not that you had anywhere else to go since you house was destroyed but you loved being around eachother all the time. Its now 2 years since you moved in. The first months Indy and you tried to keep your relationship a secret from all your studies. But one day Indy had to give you a message. He did that a lot just as an excuse to see you but you could never kiss or anything. But this time Indy didn't pay attention to what he was doing he gave you a quick kiss when he left. When he realised what he did he looks at your students and turns red. 'Okay bye kids.' He said akwardly and left the classroom. All of your students started to ask questions and then you just decided to tell your students your story. They all found it very interesting and the next day eveyone knew that you were daiting. Your students tease you sometimes but apart from that life is great. Indy and you are still deeply in love. You have breakfast together, go to work together, have dinner together, sleep together😏 and just have fun together. You never felt happier. Sometimes Indy takes you out on dates and this time he surprised you with a trip to China together. You've always wanted to go there on holiday and since this is your 2 year anniversairy Indy booked this for you.

You arrive in the hotel, after a long flight, where Indy booked you a room. You open your roomdoor. 'Oh Indy this is amazing!' You hug him and kiss him in excitement. Indy smiles. 'I'm glad you like it.' Indy sits down on the bed. 'Oh god I'm so tired.' You but your bags down and jump on his lap. Indy smiles and kisses your head. 'So do you still want to have dinner downstairs?' He asks. 'Or are you too tired?' 'You know me honey, I can sleep for 4 hours a night and still have energy.' You anwser. Indy smiles
'That's true.' He picks you up to stand up and takes of his shirt. 'I'm gonna get a quick shower okay?' He asks. You sit down. 'Sure.' You say and take of your shoes. 'Wanna join?' Indy smirks. 'With pleasure.' You smile and jump up.

After you showered you get dressed. Indy wears his whit suit, you love that suit, and you wear a red dress. 'You look gorgeous.' Indy whispers from behind. You turn around and kiss him. 'I love you.' You say. 'I love you too.' Indy pulls you close. You smile and give him a soft kiss. 'Come on lets go, I'm starving.' Indy accepts your hand and you go downstairs. You notice Indy nervously playing with something in his pocket. 'Are you okay?' You ask. Indy doesnt anwser. 'Indy?' He looks up. 'Oh yeah um, sorry what did you say?' You smile 'I aksed if you were okay.' 'Oh yeah I'm fine, just tired I guess.'
You get to the dinning room. Its absolutely stunning. Everywhere is gold and white. It looks very fancy. You squeeze Indy's hand and lean on his arm. 'This is perfect thank you.' Indy smiles. 'You deserve it sweetheart.' A waiter brings you to you table. You sit down and he asks you something. You look to Indy but he doesnt say anything. 'Indy, for the record you are the only one here who speaks Chinese.' 'Oh right, he asks what you want to drink.' 'Saké (Asian rice whine) please.' You say. 'For me two.' Indy says in Chinese. The dinner is delicious and Indy and you have a great time as always. After you finished you and Indy order dessert: ice cream for two with two spoons. Indy gets some ice cream on his chin. You laugh. 'You should grow a beard.' You say. Indy laughs. 'Nah it makes me look old. 'Okay then maybe just when we're old and grey and all we can do is sit in our house together.' You say jokingly but Indy's facial expression changes to serious. 'What, did I say something wrong?' You ask. Indy smiles. 'No, it's just that you kind of just said that we will always be together.' You smile. 'Is that such a bad thing?' You asks. 'Not at all, come.' Indy stands up and grabs your hand. You smile and say: 'Umm don't we have to pay?' Indy laughs. 'Right.' He says and puts some money on the table. He takes your hand again. 'Come, come.' 'Watch the hurry.' You ask fastening your steps. 'I want to take you somewhere.' Indy takes you all the way up the stairs to the rooftop. 'Wow, you can see the entire city!' You say. 'But what's the hurry to get here?' You ask. 'So about what you said about dinner when we're old and grey: I've been thinking about us lately and I realised something, I want to have you by my side for the rest of my life everyday.' Indy looks into your eyes and then he does it: He goes down on one his knee. 'Y/N Y/L/N will you marry me?' Tears well up in your eyes and you smile your brightest and wildest smile. 'YES,YES, a thousand times yes.' Indy stand up, slides the ring on your finger and you hug him tight. You kiss very long. 'I love you.' You say smiling wide with your head on Indy's chest. 'I love you too.' Indy says and his voice cracks a little. You look up to Indy a tear rolls down his cheeck and laugh. 'Jones I think you lost a tear.' Indy smiles. 'Well almost Jones, what do you expect?' He says and kisses you. 'As much as I admire the view and as much as I will forever love this place, I'm a little cold.' You say. Indy smiles. 'Lets go inside.'

You go back to your room. 'So, like you wanna?' Indy asks and smirks. You shut him up by kissing him and thats how your first night engaged starts and ends.
