Chapter 6: Ganging up

Indy and you steal a horse from the camp and chase the truck. Riding in front of the truck are Belloq and some of his men. 'Y/N, you take the left I'll go right.' Indy says. You ride down the hill. Indy and you each going to a side of the truck. You make your horse go faster and jump on the truck. 'Sheizen.' You chuckle when you hear one of the German's yell. Propably Indy throwing him of the truck. Carefully you climb to the front where you knock out the driver. A few moments later Indy comes in thru the other door. 'I missed ganging up against Belloq with you.' He says and he gives you a quick kiss. 'Yeah me too.' One of the escort cars increases speed and drives by your left. Indy shoots one of them before it can jump on the truck. 'You didn't bring a gun along for me, did you?' You ask. 'No, but I did just steal one from a Nazi.' Indy smiles and hands it over to you. 'Indy, eyes on the road!' You scream when Indy almost drives of the cliff. The escort car is still trying to push you over the edge but Indy pushes them of instead. Indy laughs. 'We're not done yet.' A motor cycle drives by. Indy pushes that away too. 'Nice one Jones!' You say. 'Now just the ones in the back!' Indy just finished his sentence when a soldier climbs in. You knock him off while Indy tries to shake the other ones of by driving past plants. It almost works. There is just one more left. Just before he comes in he shoots Indy in the arm. 'Indy!' You try to get to him to help him, but the German stops you by sitting in the middle. 'I'm fine.' he says. Indy is weakend for a moment and the soldier throws Indy out the front window. 'Indy!' You look out the window. Belloq yells something to the German, who's now driving the truck. He nods and speeds up the truck. You see what he's going to do and you try to stop him. You look out the window again and see that Indy is hanging on the front, trying to get under the truck. You just take a small moment to appreciate how strong your man, your Indy is. You snap out of your little day dream and shoot the German in his arm. He cries in pain and you throw him out the front window just like he did with Indy.He tries to hold on but falls on the road. 'That's payback bitch.' You hear from beside you. Indy climbs inside. 'Indy!' He smiles. 'Are you okay?' You ask concerned. 'Yeah I'm fine, anddd we've got the ark.' You smile and kiss him. 'And we've got the ark.'

Indy and you arrive in Cairo, where Sallah is waiting for you. You drive the truck in some kind of parking space where you hide the truck so Belloq won't spot it. You would do anything to see the look on his face right now. You chuckle at the thought.

That night Sallah brings you to the harbor. He has securded a place on a pirate ship for you. The ark is in the hold of the ship. The captain greets you. 'Aah dr Jones, you are exactly the way I imagined.' He and Sallah laugh. You try not to but a small chuckle escapes your lips. Indy gives you a fake hurt look. 'Oh come on, it must be in a good way, because he's talking about a man with your looks.' You say half joking. Indy smiles and wraps his not hurt arm around you. 'Please take care of them.' Sallah says to the captain. 'These are my friends, they are like my family.' 'My hut is there's.' The pirate captain says and he goes aboard his ship. Indy hugs Sallah. 'Take care my friend.' He says. 'You too.' You hug Sallah. 'I'm sure we'll see eachother soon.' You say. 'Take care of yourself.' Sallah says. 'And keep an eye on Indy.' He jokes.Indy laughs. 'I think we'll be allright, we have eachoter. Indy and you go aboard the ship where the captain leads you to his hut.

You come back in the hut after you washed yourself a little. You're wearing a white night gown. The captain gave it to you. 'Where'd you get that?'Indy asks. He's laying on the bed without his shirt. 'From him, I don't think I'm the first woman travelling with these pirates.' 'You look good.' He says. You smile and walk to the bed. 'Come on, let me help clean your wounds.' Indy lays back and you give him a soft kiss. You look at his chest. He has some scratches but he looks GOOD. 'Enjoying the view?' Indy smirks. 'Yes, it's amazing.' You laugh. 'You're still the same man I knew ten years ago. Just al little older.' You smile. 'It's not the years honey it's the mileage.' Indy grunts when you try to clean his wound. 'Oh come on, don't be such a baby.' Your eyes twinkle when you say it. He's adorable. 'It hurts.' Indy complains. 'Were doesn't it hurt?!' You ask. 'Here.' Indy says firm an he holds up an elbow. You burst into laughter. 'Sorry, pain isn't funny.' You say jokingly and kiss his elbow. 'Come here.' Indy says. You lay down next to him your head on his chest. 'Doesn't this hurt?' You ask. 'Not really, anything for you sweetheart.' You smile. 'I love you Junior.' 'I love you too.' Indy says. 'As long as you dont call me Junior.' He kisses your nose softly. 'I promise.' You say but show him your right hand wich obviously makes a cross with your fingers. Indy laughs. You close your eyes feeling safe in his arms. His body warms yours and the two of you fall asleep.
