Always knew you'd show up

Chapter 2: Nazi's I hate those guys

After you left Jones outside you sit down an sigh.You take te medallion out of your desk and hang it around your neck. After all those years he just shows up. With that same smirk, same eyes, same smile. Same Indy. You aren't even as mad as you should be. You will never admit it but deep inside you you know that you are glad to see him. You think about all the years you had and you smile but than you remember your pain and think about the last time you saw him.

*10 years ago the evening before Indy left*

Indy just took you out on a date. It was in a very expensive restaurant. You wondered why, he never did that. Yes you went out on dates and he took you to dinner but never that expensive. You didn't mind. As long as you were together you were happy. Your hand in his you walk to your house. You stop on your frontdoor step and turn around to say goodnight to Indy. He smiles a little sad at you. 'Indy are you okay?' you ask. 'Yeah it's nothing don't worry.' He pulls you close and you kiss him. 'You know I love you Y/N.' Indy says. ' I love you two.' You smile. He kisses you long and passionate. It's almost like he's saying goodbye. Wich he was, but you didn't know it then. He takes a last look at you and you smile. His eyes shine sad. You wonder why. It must be your imagination. You close the door not knowing that it will be the last time you see him in 10 years.

The morning after you wake up and go downstairs. Your dad, Abner Ravenwood, is sitting at the kitchen table. 'Hey dad don't you have to give Indy lessons?' You ask. On Friday your dad always gives Indy private lessons archeology. Your dad looks at you with a concerned look. 'What?' you ask. 'Did something happen?' 'Y/N didn't he tell you?' your dad asks. 'What?' You ask. You dad doesn't anwser. 'What dad, what?' 'Y/N he left.' your dad says mad and sad at the same time. 'What?!' You're shocked. 'For how long?' Your dad shrugs. 'I don't know. Forever I guess.' he says. 'Why did he leave?' 'He said something about work.' your dad anwsers. A tear rolls down your face. 'Y/N.' your dad says. 'Come here.' He stand up to give you a hug. 'No!' you yell confused and angry. You leave the house and run away. You stop when you reach te park. You sit down on a bench and catch your breath. 'Indy.' you say. 'Why didn't you tell me?' How could he. The only man you ever loved left you without saying anything. Tears roll down your face and you sit outside for hours even when it starts to rain. This was the start of a very long and hard few years.

*Back to today*

You hear a knock on the door. 'Oh for god sake Jones leave me alone.' You say while opening the door. 'Good evening fraulein.' A man in a hat and small glasses greets you. A German. What on earth is he doing here? There are two men standing behind him. 'Um hi goodevening.' you say. 'What can I do for you?' 'The same thing your friend doctor Jones wanted.' 'He didn't tell me what he wanted and.' You lie. You don't trust this man he looks creepy and besides he is a Nazi. 'Oh, then what was he doing here?'The Nazi asks. 'We haven't seen eachother for ten years!' 'Please leave, you have no business here.' you close the door but the Nazi holds it. 'Actually we do.' The two men behind behind the German grab you by your arms and push you on a chair. 'Hey! Get your hands of me!' you struggle to get loose. 'What do you want from me?' 'The headpiece of the staf of Ra.' The German says. 'I don't even know what it looks like.' You spit on the floor. 'Its a medallion with letters on it.' 'Oh that piece of junk.' You raise an eyebrow. 'I solled it years ago.' You look the german aggresively in his eyes. 'Now let me go and go and bother someone else.' 'Oh but fraulein I believe you still have it.' The nazi with the hat says. 'No I don't.'you lie. The nazi walks up to your fire place and takes the hot stick out of the fire. 'Oh you I'm sure you'll tell us where it is.' Your eyes widen and you get scared. 'No please don't!' You scream. 'I'll tell you anything.' 'Oh I'm sure you do.' The nazi comes awfully close with the stick. Just as the man wants to points it at your face something swings it out of his hand. 'Let her go!' Indiana is standing on the doorstep with his whip in one hand and his gun the other. One of the men shoots at Indiana but he ducks away. You take shelter behind the sofa while Indiana fights the Germans. The Nazi with the hat and glasses also takes shelter. You run to him to kick him out. You punch him right in the face. The man looks suprised that he just got punched by a woman. The hot stick falls out his hands and lands on the carpet. The carpet sets on fire. 'Shit!' you say. You grab the stick from the floor and point it at the german. He screams when it touches his cheeck an runs outside. So he's gone you think. You look over at Indiana who is facing the only guy still standing. The man points a gun at Indiana but before he can pull the trigger you shoot him from behind with the Nazi's gun. Indiana looks shocked but when he sees you he smirks. He takes your hand and runs with you through the on fire house.

'Nazi's I hate those guys.' Indiana says. You look at your house as it burns. You sigh. 'Well Jones at least you haven't forgotten how to give a lady a good time. 'You know what, since my house is now destroyed I'm your god damn partner.' You hold up the medallion. Indiana smiles and he playfully raises an eyebrow. 'I was planning on asking you to come anyway.' You shake your head but you smile. 'So when do we leave?' You ask. Jones smiles. 'I thought you'd never ask.'
