You didn't want to leave Newt in the Berg alone while the others went into Denver but he protested other wise. You sigh and kiss his cheek. "I love you Newt." You tell him. He looks at you with a hurt expression and whispers "I love you too Y/N."
When you come back you look around and see the berg is empty. You see a note laying on the place he was at last. What you read made your heart drop with each perfectly shaped letter.
"Well what are we doing just sitting here? We need to find him!" Minho says trying to show no emotion but failing. Jorge nods and hops in the drivers seat. The ride to the crank palace is quiet as everyone is in their own little world. Jorge eventually lands the berg at the front gate. You get out and take a shaky breath. You Minho and Thomas get stopped by a guzrd which leads Minho to arguing with the guard, He finally lets you go and shows you to where Newt is. You walk into the old bowling alley. You see the familiar back of the boy known as Newt. "I thought I told you shanks to leave me alone." Newt whispers not even bothering to turn around and face you. "Newt please!" You whisper. He shakes his head. "You're a traitor." He says this time turning to face you. You then remember the not. With shaky hands you pull the note out of your pocket. 'If you've ever loved me kill me." You read out loud. You shake your head. "Newt-I-I can't kill you." You say looking in his eyes. The madness in his eyes showing. Before you know what is happening you find a gun in your hands. He had his hands over yours pointing the gun at himself. You brush over the trigger. "I love you Y/N." He whispers. Tears pour down your face. You can't kill Newt. You just can't. "Newt I love you too but I can't!" You scream at him. He shakes his head and hovers his finger over the trigger. A loud bang that could surely be heard a mile away was fired. Newt was gone. You killed your boyfriend. Your hands shake and your sobs become worse as Minho grabs you and hugs you. "Guys we need to get back to the berg." Thomas whispers tears streaming down his face. You pull away and run as fast as we can to the Berg ignoring the cranks grabbing at you.
You have never seen Minho cry before and it is the most heart breaking thing you would probably ever see. The image of Newt begging you to kill him has burned in the back of your mind. You just want to hug Newt one last time but you know you won't see him again. He's up there with Chuck and Alby. "What happened? Where's Newt?" Jorge asks you as you hop onto the berg. You shake your head. "He's gone." You whisper. Jorge looks at you with a hurt expression. "Jorge take me to W.I.C.K.E.D headquarters? I have something to do." You whisper looking at him. "Uh sure.." He replies taking you to W.I.C.K.E.D HQ. You sigh as he drops you off and leaves. You know exactly what to do. You walk up to the doors and sigh. Ratman greets you at the door with a smile. "So glad you came." he says leading you to a room where an operating table is and doctors and nurses are waiting for you. You sigh and lay on the table. "Don't worry. Your brain will save all mankind." Says the doctor putting a mask over your face.
You wake up to see a blinding light. 'Am I dead?' you wonder to yourself. All of a sudden a familiar face looks at you tears pouring out of her eyes. "Y/N! You're awake!" She screams hugging your body close to her. "Mom? W-wheres Thomas and Minho?" You ask starting to freak out. "honey calm down!" She says grabbing your hand. "You were in an accident and were out for a few months." She whispers to you. You were in a coma. So Newt is actually alive! But you recall no memory of Thomas and the other Gladers. They were all apart of your imagination. All of a sudden Newt bursts through the hospital room and holds you close. "I've missed you Y/N" he whispers kissing your forehead. Tears pour down every ones face as you all smile. But a small part of you wishes the others were real.

OKAY SO THAT WAS WAY BETTER PLANNED IN MY HEAD......WHen it comes to writing it turns out like crap but seems like a good idea in my head so..yeah...but ENJOY THIS AWKWARD UPDATE :3
