14 || Letters || Year Two

 Dear Harry,

I guess what happened back at school didn't mean anything to you, did it? If it did you would answer my letters. I don't even get why I tell Ron to deliver these for me. He says he's asked you to visit about twelve times. In recent news, I'm getting picked up by the Weasley's to go to Diagon Alley. I hope we can at least meet up there.

When I see you, I'm going to throttle you unless you can come up with a good excuse for why you haven't been writing.

Harry still hasn't answered yours, either? I feel bad for Errol, he's got to deliver three times the load.

Anyway, miss you and Hermione tons. If you come and pick me up, we can set up a date for when I come stay. I've been working on some prank ideas for Fred and George, like they suggested--my new friend Maren is brilliant at coming up with them.

Harry still hasn't written me, I'm starting to get worried. Fred and George say that he's probably forgotten about us (but who can trust them, they're right gits). I'm sure the Dursley's are just giving him trouble or taking his letters. We'll bust him out.

How about next week? Mum says that she's alright with it, and Dad wants to hear about the Muggles you live with. Fred and George will be excited about the pranks, they've been bored.

Also, do you have any tips about Errol? I'd ask Hermione but she'd probably send me a book and I don't want to read it.

Make sure you're packed, we're going to make a plan with the twins about how to save Harry.

I know I've bombarded you with stories about the kids back home, but Maren and I managed to get jobs in town and the kids have never been eating better. Tiny's growing faster than ever. I wish you could meet all of them, I'm sure they'd love you.

I've been practicing Potions when I'm alone, since we don't need our wands, and I've gotten pretty good at it. I even brewed a batch of a Sleeping Potion. I'd send you a sample but I don't think poor Errol could handle it.

By the way, you were right about drawing. It helps me keep my temper in check. Especially when I feel the need to strangle Harry.

Yesterday Maren and I took the kids to the lake to give Prissy a rest and they absolutely loved it, though I'm pretty sure they're not going to love the sunburns they got. Do you think you can meet the Weasley's and I at Diagon Alley?

Dear Ash,

I'm so glad that the kids are eating better. If you ever need anything, please let me know and I'll have mom and dad send some food or clothes over right away. You really think they'd like me? I'd like to meet Tiny, he seems so sweet.

I'm so happy you've been practicing! Maybe next year we can get Ron and Harry to actually take school work seriously. I'll check the potion when we get to school, it's smart of you to brew it in case we ever need it.

Send me some of your drawings! I like reading, too, but I'm sure you've read the school books a dozen times because I know I have.

When you stay over at Ron's, I'll owl you the day we are going to Diagon Alley and we can meet there. I'm worried about Harry, but we'll see him there, right?

Yes that date works! I can't wait to see you and be around witches and wizards again, I'm going mad not being able to use magic.

I've re-read our school books about twenty times, and I know I sound like Hermione, but I really want to read something different. How's Errol doing now? I don't know much about owl care, but you should probably just give him some rest. I promise I won't send any more letters :)

This is the last letter I'm writing to you. I've decided that something must be wrong because you are my friend and you wouldn't flat out ignore me if you had a choice. So once I get to the Weasley's, we're going to break you out.

I hope the Dursley's aren't giving you too much trouble.
