Unexpected

Chap 4

Ericka's POV

I woke up the next morning and Alexis' bed was empty. "Alexis?" I looked at my phone. "Ten am." I sat up in bed. "Alexis?"

"What?" She walked out of the bathroom pulling on her black leather jacket over her white tee. She put on a light blue infinity scarf that has white snowflakes on it. "It's freezing outside."

"Is that why you're wearing skinny jeans and your black high heel ankle boots?" I raised an eyebrow.

"No." She smiled as she sat on her bed. "I dressed up for today, okay? Speaking of which, you need to get ready."

"Right." I got out of bed. I showered and got dressed in my favorite jeans, black tennis shoes, my favorite long red sleeve shirt, and my After Romeo hoodie. I even put on my Juliet necklace. "I'm ready."

"I'm not." Alexis was struggling curling her hair.

"Let me help you with that," I said grabbing the curling iron from her. After thirty minutes, I finished beach curling her hair. "Perfect."

"Thanks." She turned off the iron. "Okay. Don't need makeup, already mosturized." She looked around. "I'm done."

"Let's take a mirror picture." I stood in front of the long mirror. Alexis and I wrapped our arm around each other. I took the picture. "Perfect. That's going on instagram."

"At least it's not another one like the one Blake posted."

"Hey, he thinks your beautiful when you think you look like crap. Alexis, I wish I look like you when you don't try." I looked at her. "You're always beautiful and there's never a day you look horrible. Even if you try to look horrible you don't look horrible."

"Thanks sis." She hugged me. "Now, let's get to Drew's room." She grabbed her phone. "And I now have a reason to get Blake's number."

"You should've gotten that last night," I suggested.

"Little too late." Alexis checked the mirror one last time. "Nothing out of place."

"Let's go," I said opening the door. "Alexis."

"I'm coming."

We walked to Drew's room and knocked. Blake opened the door. "Hey guys," said Blake. He hugged Alexis. Then he hugged me. "Glad you could make it."

"We wouldn't miss it," I said. Blake let us in and the guys had a place and a plate of food set for us on the table. "Hi." The guys all said hi as soon as we sat down. Drew came and sat next to me. "Hi."

"Hey," said Drew.

"So, after the video chat we were thinking of going out around the town," said Jayk. "You girls in?"

"Oh Jayk, I'm going to have to cancel," said Drew. "I'm actually going to hang with Ericka today." He looked at me. "If that's alright with you?"
