SARKIN ZAZZAU;
Mai Martaba Alhaji Ahmad Gobir is a man of dignity and humility.
He is known across the country for his knowledge of the deen and for the numerous publishing companies he has across the country.
Infact, He is the first man from Nigeria to publish a book about the life of the prophet PBUH, stating clearly how he lived his life, and other prominent stories.
of course he published those books after he went round the world to seek for the valuable knowledge he needs to author a book of that importance.
It was during that time he met his first wife in Maiduguri, Falmata Aliyu Mai. She was the daughter of the king and a mere teenager like him at that time.
Alhaji Ahmad Gobir, spent time with the king himself and told him Of his thirst for the seeking knowledge of the religion.
The king wedded Falmata to him, as a token for his good conduct during the course of his learning and also for the desire he held for the religion.
After his marriage with Falmata, they had 3 boys,almost immediately,hence he will leave them back home and go on his mission of seeking knowledge.
After some years, he found himself in Egypt, where he went to learn the history and true roots of pharaoh in order to author a book about their history.
There too, he found himself a wife...Kaltoom. His second wife.
Kaltoom's father used to be his tour guide when he went to the pyramids and museums and over that time, they bonded so well, he offered him his daughter. Since kaltoom's mother was a Nigerian herself,she didn't have a problem giving her first daughter out to a fellow Nigerian, so he went back home with Kaltoom as his bride.
His Third wife, Heebah, he met when he went to kano, to meet the Emir, for a council meeting. That happened shorty after he was given the position to be the sarkin zazzau of zaria, after the acting king, his father,passed away.
Heebah was given to him as a congratulatory gift for his honesty and for being an upright man of honor. Although Heebah's mother, A Somalian lady by the name of Sarah was against it, her husband the king had already decided hence heebah was wedded to him.
Now his fourth wife, he married just recently.
Hadiza...the daughter of the king of Adamawa state. She had been betrothed to him right from birth, and it was just recently and she completed her university and got married to him as promised.
With four wives in his house hold, he is sure to be strict and upright in the way he handles every individual in his home, and also possess the right will power to take up the responsibility of being the leader of the clan.
His first wife Falmata, has 5 children and has taken up the responsibility of being the moderator in the house and for that,he will forever be grateful to her. Her kids are, Umar, Usman, Yusuf, Safina and Kilima, whom are all married except For Yusuf and kilima
His Second wife, Kaltoom is a handful and a problematic person. She always likes to stir chaos in his rather peaceful home. And it is clear that her four kids have taken after her.
Khalil,Nana Asma'u, Aslam and Ameena.
His third wife, Heebah is the calmest amongst his wives. She is such a vibrant and loving woman. Her kids have also seemed to have taken after her, from her loving personality to her Somalian genes.
Najmah, Nadim and Nadia are her kids.
His last wife, Hadiza is the age of his 5th born, kilima. She is 24 years old and has recently given birth to her first child, Huda.
With a total number of 13 children and 4 grandchildren. He can confidently say he is a blessed man. And at his age of 59, it is no surprise that he is being a full time king, leaving his companies for his boys to handle and being a Responsible father to his kids.
He was thankful for the type life he is leading and for the family God has blessed him with.

Yaya Umar; married to ya lubna. They are blessed with two kids. Amani & Amal
Second born:
Yaya Usman; married to ya rukky. They are blessed with a kid. Fatima.
Third born:
Yaya Yusuf; 31 year old bachelor
Fourth born:
Yaya Safina; married to Ya Farouk. She has a cute baby boy, Samir.
Fifth born:
Yaya kilimah: 24 years old and a graduate of Lynn university Miami.
Sixth born:
Yaya Khalil; 22 years old. Doing his NYSC
Seventh born;
Nana Asma'u; 20 years old. In her third year in Nile university
Eighth born:
Najmah; 17 years old. Just graduated from new horizons.
Ninth born:
Aslam; 16 years old. He's in ss2 Zaria Academy
Tenth born;
Nadim; 16 years old. Few months younger than Aslam.
Eleventh born
Ameena; 14 years old.
Twelfth born
Nadia; 8 years old
Thirteen born
Baby huda; 8 months old
