I didn't wanna believe it. I couldn't believe it.
I just froze and stood there in my place, I didn't say a word.
I was saying things in my head, but they wouldn't come up. It felt as if my feet were glued to the ground and my lips were sown shut.
"Please..say something." he swallowed the lump in his throat.
"Why are you here?" I said louder than I intended.
"I didn't know you were- I just transferred and- I saw you and I-" he stuttered on every word.
"Forget it, you don't have to tell me." I crossed my arms.
"Look, let's just pretend we don't go to the same school and go on with our lives like we did before you saw me and I saw you, deal?" I said.
"No deal. I've been waiting years and years to talk to you again. I'm not gonna screw this up, this is my chance to make it all okay again between us. To fix this."
"Well, you can't fix this. What did you think? That you could just show and everything would be all amazing and fireworks would go off in the sky?" I threw up my hands in frustration.
"I don't know..I guess." He frowned.
"Just leave me the hell alone." I then turned around and walked away with guilt.
