I was lying on my bed just thinking. Thinking about everything. I played meeting Grayson again over and over again in my head like a scene.

Earlier I almost  convinced myself that I was dreaming, until I couldn't wake up.

I picked up my phone and texted Cody.

you: hey.

cody  <3: sup ;)

you: nothing, thinking.

cody  <3: what are you thinkin bout?

you: just stuff.

you: hey, can we meet up at the park later?

cody <3: oh sorry baby I'm busy with studying, im gonna be at home all day, maybe tmrw?

you: awh..okay. well, see you at school. :)

cody <3: okay, see you then ;)

I sighed. "Guess I'll be staying at home."

After flipping through TV shows for an hour, I decided, "screw it", and went out to the park anyway for a walk to clear my mind off things.

I put on my jacket and headed out.

"Jesus, it's freezing outside." I shivered.

I don't know how it was even possible, but it got even more freezing. The sky was getting dark, and my phone was buzzing like crazy.

I sat down on a park bench and checked my phone.

(1) you got a text from a blocked number: hey kayla, it's me "gray"

(2) you got a text from a blocked number: just wanted to know if we could hang out tomorrow.

(3) you got a text from a blocked number: shit I just stubbed my toe

(4) you got a text from a blocked number: oh wow, you really didn't need to know that sorry..

(5) you got a text from a blocked number: anyway, text me if you can

(6) you got a text from a blocked number: bye

I couldn't help but let out a slight laugh at the stubbing toe text. Hey, I may be furious, but that doesn't mean I can't laugh at his goofyness.

While I was walking home, I noticed a silhouette of a guy and a girl making out under a football bleacher.

"Geez, do people not know how to get a room."

As I got closer, the silhouettes got more clear with every step.

My heart pounded when I looked upon the silhouette on the right. The boy one.

It was familiar, extremely familiar.

At this moment, my world shattered. When I realized who it was.

It wasn't Grayson.

It was Cody.
