You hummed thoughtfully whilst looking through the menu of quite tempting drinks and desserts. Calling them delicacies was a bit of a stretch considering that the prices weren't quite as burdensome as opposed to the other coffee shops you've been in, but the way they smelled was enough to at least consider them highly desirable.
Admittedly, you were looking forward to sampling some of the food choices offered in this oneshot cafe. You swallowed your guilt and chained it to the deepest pits of your stomach before looking up to meet the girl's eager smile.
"Uh... I think—"
"Pfft, hey, wait, wait," You were abruptly interrupted by the girl who waved a hand to tell you to stop. "Don't look so awkward about things."
You quirked an eyebrow at the sound of her snorting. "I'm not."
"I promise it's okay," she waved once again at you, which you assumed was a habit of hers. "I expect you to come back and visit next time, though."
"Hah," you chuckled at her teasing statement, both half-joking and half-serious that only made you want to return for more after today's events. "Sure."
She seemed to be satisfied with your brief reply, nodding and smiling ever so brightly. "About your order," she folded her arms over the edge of the counter and leaned over, looking over the menu and dragging her eyes over the words upside-down in her point of view. "Which one of these do you want to try out first?"
