Chapter 18: Headache :/

me and nick got off the ride and started heading towards where clay and george said they would be waiting.

"that was insane" i said as i was trying to fix the slight mess of my hair

"i know right, holy-" he started but got interrupted by clay

"how was it?" he said slightly laughing

"scary but amazing" i said also laughing

george giggles and both nick and i were confused as to why they were still laughing, "what?" nick asked

clay pointed to our hands and laughed a bit harder

"oh- sorry, i didn't even realized" i said while blushing and looking down, but i don't think he noticed because he was also looking down

"no it's fine, i didn't either, sorry" nick replied

clay literally wheezed at how awkward the situation was and changed the subject, "oh yeah, y/n, try this thing. idk what it is but it taste amazing"

i walked over and nick went to talk to george

"sike, this is my food, now whAt was that all about?" he said while smirking as he shot a wink at me

"it was seriously nothing, we both got scared on the ride, so i grabbed his hand.. and i guess we just didn't let go? idk" i said looking down again

"mkay, sureee" he said and laughed

"whatever" i said and smiled while turning to the rest of the group, "alright, what's next?"

we started making slight plans for the day and a guessed list/order of rides to go on; we would save the more chill and colorful ones for when it got dark and the scary ones during daytime.

we got ready to start heading towards a roller coaster with tons of loops and hill-like structures.

"okay, i let u guys skip the last ride, but u HAVE to do this one!" i said with excitement

"yeah, this one is gonna be great. by the way, we all have to sit close to each other so that we can get a good picture" nick said

"oh no.." clay said, instantly regretting all of his life choices

"okay, i'm nervous, but i kind of want to feel the adrenaline" george said

we arrived at the line and got ready for getting into our seats; this time i was going to sit next to george in the front seat, and nick and clay were going to sit right behind us.

we sat down and were slowly going up; it's the most horrifying part of a roller coaster. u slowly go higher and higher, and once ur at the top, u don't know when ur gonna ZOOM down.

we reached the top and george and i started slighty freaking out.

"oh mY gOd!" i screamed

"HELL NO!!!" george yelled

"stop yELLinG! ur scaring me!" clay said in a panicked tone

"clay u might wanna close ur eyes" i said trying to be calm

"my eyes have been closed since we-"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" george screamed as we went down

"OH MY GOD!" i could hear nick yell

we suddenly went through a loop and i screamed, "AHHH HOLY SHIT!"

george just seemed to keep the same scream the entire ride
