"The agency is going all right?" Bakugo questioned into the phone after he had tucked his daughter into bed.

"Everything here is fine." The man on the other end of the line replied with a soft smile. "Haru and Cami are fine too. They make more and more friends in day care everyday." Bakugo smiled at his words as he thought about his other two kids that didn't come with him. The whole situation was hard and complicated for both of them.

"I miss you Izu." Bakugo whispered sadly into the phone. The phone went silent at Bakugo's words. His heart began to hurt when he didn't hear a reply from his husband on the other end.

"I-I miss you t-too Kaachan." Midoriya replied while trying to hold back his tears.

"Why are you crying nerd?" Bakugo questioned sadly.

"Because this sucks. I want you and the kids here with me." Midoriya replied sadly.

"I can always come home." Bakugo offered as he leaned back into the couch.

"We'll only be avoiding the inevitable." He replied as more tears fell down his face. "You want to move back to Japan and I want to stay in America, there isn't anyway this can work.." His voice trailed off sadly. They were stuck between a rock and a hard place. Their futures didn't align anymore, they both wanted different things. They still loved each other very much, but neither of them could compromise on what they wanted.

"We have always found a way to make it work." The blonde replied as tears began to pool in his eyes. "You can't give up on us babe.. we fought so hard to be together."

"I know we did." Midoriya replied through the phone sadly. "We want different things now a days.."

"Why do you want to stay in America?" Bakugo snapped.

"Why do you want to go back to Japan?" Midoriya questioned, avoiding the blonde's question.

"I met with Kirishima, Iida, and Uraraka today." Bakugo started. "I actually missed them. I miss my parents too I guess." He replied sadly.

"What about the agency we built in America?" Midoriya questioned.

"We would have our side kicks step up and run it and we would open a second one here." Bakugo replied, desperately hoping to convince the green haired man to join him in Japan.

"That could work." Midoriya replied quietly.

"What would we do about the kids?" Bakugo questioned, hoping to make Midoriya realize that they had four kids who needed both their parents.

"Cami and Haru would stay with me. Ali and Owen would stay with you. We'll rotate spring break and winter break every year. Since they have summer at the same time, they can all go to japan for the first two weeks and then come to America for the second two weeks since Japan has a shorter summer break." He explained.

"You really thought about it huh?" Bakugo whispered quietly. The love of his life was slipping through his fingers and he felt hopeless.

"Did you get the papers today?" Midoriya questioned as the sound of sniffles echo'd through the phone.

"The Divorce Papers?" Bakugo questioned through gritted teeth as he stood from the couch, lazily walking to the stack of papers on the counter.

"Yeah." Midoriya replied quietly, feeling extremely guilty. "It's just a rough draft of how everything would be split and custody stuff. It doesn't even have our names on it yet, it's just to clarify that the split of everything is okay."

"Everything is not okay!" Bakugo yelled as he slammed his fist on the counter. "I'm not signing any damn papers! When we got married 2 and half years ago, we promised to stick by each other's side through thick and thin. We promised we would fight for our marriage forever, so I am not signing any damn papers until we do everything in our power to make this work!" He finished his speech as tears fell down his cheeks onto the giant stack of papers that said DIVORCE in big bold letters at the top.
