Your Secret Talent | Preference

Thomas:

You're a really good at singing.

You just came back to the Glade along with your best friend, Minho and your boyfriend, Thomas. You were a runner and you,Minho,and Thomas would take turns on who takes a shower first. One day it would be the boys and the next it would be you and it would just continue on and on. So today it was your turn to take a shower first. The first thing you do when you get to the glade is go to the showers. You didn't worry about having to get your clothes because on your days when you were the one to take a shower first, you would get your clothes ready before you went into the Maze so you wouldn't have to worry about getting them when you got back. The showers were away from everyone else, which you liked. You don't have to worry about one of the other gladers walking in on you while you're taking a shower, but its not like they haven't before. Usually when it's your day to take a shower first, Minho will tell all the gladers so they know not to walk in.

When you get to the showers you take off your clothes and turn on the shower. The water was steamy hot but you found it relaxing. As you were washing your hair you started to sing a song. Since you couldn't remember any songs, you came up with your own. As you were singing and washing you hair you hear someone walk in. Good thing there was a curtain so no one could see anything.

"Do you mind I'm trying to take a shower. You know I'm the one taking a shower first today." You say as you poke your head from behind the curtain to see who walked in. You look to see Thomas leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and with a smile on his face.

"If you're here to get some-"

"I heard you singing." He says cutting you off.

You didn't think anyone could have heard you singing. Guess you were wrong.

"Me sing? No that's crazy?" You reply while going back to washing your hair.

"Y/N stop pretending you don't know what I'm talking about. You have a beautiful voice."

You blush and poke your head out from behind the curtain again to look at Thomas's face to see if he was joking or not. When you looked at his face you could tell that he wasn't joking. You didn't think you were good at singing at all. You thought you were terrible.

"Really?"

"Really. Now I want you to continue to take a shower and sing me a song with that beautiful voice of yours." He says while sitting up against the wall.

Newt:

You can fight.

Today was the when your boyfriend, Newt will teach you how to fight. You had to continually beg him to teach you to fight and he finally gave in. It was early in the morning. It was around the time when the Runners were getting ready to into the Maze. Newt took your and walked you over to stand in the circle Gally would fight gladers in.

"Ok Y/N, first we're just gonna fight with no weapons and see how you do." Newt says.

"Do you want me to take it easy on you?" You ask sarcastically

"Hey don't get cocky before we even start." He says while pointing a finger at you and raising an eyebrown.

You laugh and get into fighting position, it was almost like a squat position but your knees weren't bent as much. You launch at Newt to go and tackle him but he moves to the side and you miss him. You groan. He laughs say how irritated you were about how you missed him. You try again and this time you hit him in the torso area and try to push him over again. As you push on to him he pushes back and starts making you slide backwards. You then dig your feet in the ground and push him with a great amount of force. The push sends him stumbling a few feet backwards away from you. After he gets his balance again he runs towards you. You let he runs to you. You push back with your hands on his shoulders. When you gain enough force to start making him slide backwards you kick his legs from under him. He falls to ground with a groan. You were proud of what you done but you knew that it probably hurt him.
