It was that day, the day where she wakes all excited but sleeps while crying her heart out when she was young, her 24th birthday which she was not sure what it holds for her. She covered her 4 years younger half sister Sierra with a duvet. Her platinum blonde hair sticking out all over the pillow while mouth little open like a baby. They both were very close, sharing same mother but their features were polar opposite. While Sierra has platinum blonde hair, hers were plain black, Sierra has ocean green eyes, hers were simply dark. Glancing at the interior of her childhood home she wondered how's it possible for everything to be similar but foreign at the same time. Everything was at its place but nothing holds that same vibe like before. Sighing softly she stepped out of her house and headed towards the cemetery. Keenly observing her surroundings she walked briskly. Acknowledging her presence Faith, her neighbours dog, came running towards her. They both were morning walk partners. It was the same day 2 years back when she met Faith on her way. Heartbroken and a crying mess she broke down near her house on the pavement when Faith came running towards her dropping the ball from her mouth while making herself comfortable right beside her on the pavement. Ever since they were inseparable no matter the distance. In a comfortable silence they continued there lazy steps while stalling time with each step a different flashbacks. She hailed a cab shortly to the cemetery. She knew she needs someone there because she can't do it alone. As if sensing her stiffness, faith hopped in the cab. With a thankful smile she sat beside faith while racking her soft fur. It was past 7 in the morning but weather made it look like evening. The thunder and lightning, the heavy clouds showed that storm is coming soon. The cab ride was quiet and brisk soon she found herself Standing right infront of the old rusty gate. She was determined that it's time to face it and no flight. She finally spoke "that's it Faith.. Now I'm on my own" and with a heavy sigh she creaked open the door and walked in while Faith obediently made herself comfortable to wait right outside on the soft grass.
