"You're scary sometimes, but yeah i understand..BYE". I chuckle than hang up. "PFFTTTT i'm so funny" i say as i get stares from other people at the cafe.

My brother and i used to be so close, inseparable even. Over time he just put up a wall and never really talked to me like a sibling. I've been treated like a co-worker ever since we joined the family company. We were both so excited to work here since we were kids...but mom's death changed everything. He was very different after that. I still wonder how he got over it so quickly, i didn't even see him cry once. I had to go to therapy after and he didn't which made no sense. He had to be grieving in some way...
