When we get back Zuko and I quietly smile at each other. I reach forward and straighten out his hair before tying my own hair back up. We walk in happy silence to where the gaang is sitting around the fire.

"Hey guys? How was your day?" I ask jovially.

Suki springs up and turns on me angrily. "Where have you been?" she asks outraged, "You said you'd only be gone for a little training."

"Yeah, we were." I look at Zuko, who stifles a laugh.

"That was this morning. I don't know if you noticed, but it's night now." I look at to Katara and Aang but they only give me a sorry smile. "I was really worried."

"Hey, I'm sorry." I pull her away from the rest of the group, and out of the corner of my eye I see Zuko eyeing me with a-and if I'm not mistaken- look of envy. I smile a little before turning a corner with Suki. "I didn't mean to make you worry. I was just out to have a little fun. I've never had any guy friends who are my age."

"You're right." She leans forward and kisses me. All of the memories of our relationship come rushing back in, Kyoshi, the Serpent's Path, the Boiling Rock, and I kiss her back. I push her back against the stone wall and lean into the kiss. I ignore the feelings that are telling me this is wrong, this isn't what I want, because this is just easier. She pulls me closer and takes one of my hands to place it on her chest. I do as she wants and she moans into my ear. I push against her hungry to feel something. But it doesn't feel right, it doesn't feel the same as Zuko. When I pull away I notice a figure blocking out the moonlight. I turn to see Zuko standing mouth open. Before I can say anything he turns and walks away.

"Hah, that was awkward," says Suki. "I wonder how much he saw." And she's right. I wonder how much he saw too.
