Akaashi walked into the club room only to see a dejected Bokuto in the far left dark corner between the wall and a large wooden bookcase.

This doesn't look good.

Thought Akaashi remembering the times his fellow teammate would contort himself into small spaces.

"Bokuto san?"

" I don't want to play."

Practice hasn't even started and you're already dejected?

"What wrong?" He said trying to hide his annoyance.

The truth was Boukto's current mood was the most bothersome to maneuver. Let alone coax him out of tiny spaces.

No answer.

Akasshi took a breath walked away and started to change into his athletic wear.

Bokuto sat in his corner sulking.

Before Akasshi made his way to the door to leave, he noted Bokuto's state again and decided to try another attempt.

"I'll tell everyone you don't feel like playing today."

Suddenly Bokuto tensed up, realizing yet again he wasn't acting as an ace should and spoke.

"Y/N doesn't want anything to do with me." He said in a cast down voice.

"Wait, you actually asked her out?" the disbelief echoed within the question.

"You said she said I was cool."

I didn't think, you would follow up with her!  Thought Akasshi silently realizing how he's responsible for this whole ordeal.

"What exactly did she say Bokuto-san?"

Bokuto moved himself out of the compact corner.

"She said she's not comfortable getting into relationship with someone she just met."He said defeated.

"Wait, you literally just asked her to be your girlfriend?"

"I see why she said no." Only imagining how freaked out his classmate might have been.

"Akasshi! You're supposed to say don't take it to heart Bokuto-san. " He said with an exaggerated wine.

Ignoring the response Bokuto wanted to hear from him. Akashi regarded Y/N quickly.

Knowing his teammate's usual extroverted personality he quickly came to the conclusion that Bokuto overstepped his bounds with her.

"YN-san isn't the most outgoing  student in our class, perhaps you could apologize for being too forward and offer becoming friends with her first."

Bokuto looked at Akasshi as if a lightbulb went off above his head and agreed enthusiastically as  their teammates came into the club room.

-♡-Later that evening-♡-

Bokuto was in his room spinning his volleyball on his finger.

Y/n wasn't exactly like the girl in my dream.

She looks like her, but her warmth wasn't there.

What if she really wants nothing to do with me?

Should I keep pursuing her? Even her friendship?

The volleyball stopped spinning and he held the ball in his hand.

Akasshi said to apologize and try to become friends with her.

To get to know her better, we could have lunch together.

Maybe once we get closer, she'll make me a bento.

A silly grin appeared on his face as he imagined the both of you on the rooftop of the school.

You holding a bento in your hands, with a glossy love struck look to your eyes.

"Kou-kun I made this bento for you. I hope you like it." as you bashfully looked away.

"I'll love anything made from you, my dream girl." he said confidently.

"awww Kou- kun you always know what to say." you said as you hugged him.

"Y/N chan." he whispered into your ear.

"Kou-kun..." you repeated.

He loses the grip of the volleyball causing it to hit the floor.

"Yea... I'm going to have lunch with Y/N." he said giddily with a grin from ear to ear.

-♡-Meanwhile-♡-

"Don't cry my love" he said as he wiped her tears and he pulled her into his arms in a strong embrace."

"Ah-choo..."

*sniff*

"Ugh, where did that sneeze come from?" you said as you grabbed a tissue.
